The TREDANSEN is a smart, wireless, battery-powered cellular blind designed for light control and privacy. It is compatible with the IKEA Home smart ecosystem and the TRÅDFRI series.

Wall Fasteners

⚠️ Note on Wall Fasteners: As wall materials vary, screws and other fasteners for fixing the blind to the wall are not included. For advice on suitable screw systems, please contact your local specialized dealer.

• ⚠️ Keep batteries out of children's reach.
• Swallowing a battery could be fatal.
• If a battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
• Before disposal, cover the battery terminals with plastic tape to avoid possible short circuits.

• Screwdriver (Phillips and flathead)

Installation Guide

Step 1: Mount Brackets

Determine the desired mounting location (wall or ceiling). Measure and mark the positions for the two mounting brackets (Part No. 10081537), ensuring they are level. Typically, brackets are placed approximately 16 cm (6.3 inches) from each end of the blind unit. Securely attach the brackets to the wall or ceiling using appropriate screws (not included). Ensure the brackets click securely into place.

Alternatively, brackets can be attached to a window frame or similar surface using screws.

Step 2: Attach Blind Unit

Align the TREDANSEN blind unit with the mounted brackets. Slide the blind unit onto the brackets until it clicks securely into place.

Step 3: Install Battery Compartment

Open the battery compartment cover on the blind unit. Insert the battery compartment/motor unit into its designated slot. Ensure it is correctly oriented and push it in until it clicks.

Step 4: Mount Remote Control Bracket & Install Battery

Choose a convenient location for the remote control unit. Attach the remote control bracket to the wall using screws (not included). Insert the CR2032 lithium battery into the remote control unit, using a screwdriver if necessary to open the battery cover. Ensure the battery is inserted with the correct polarity (+). Place the remote control unit onto its wall bracket.

Operation

Use the remote control unit to operate the TREDANSEN blind. Press the appropriate buttons to lower the blind (⬇️) and raise the blind (⬆️).

Smart Home Integration

The TREDANSEN blind works with IKEA Home smart devices and the TRÅDFRI series. To control the blind via a smartphone or voice commands, download the IKEA Home smart app from the App Store or Google Play.

The blind is compatible with the TRÅDFRI gateway and other TRÅDFRI accessories.
