Warnings Regarding Battery Use

⚠️WARNING!⚠️

  • Never remove the battery from the Folding E-Scooter.
  • Charge the battery every 1 month for at least 1 hour, even if the E-Scooter has not been in use, to prevent capacity loss.
  • Regular charging protects the battery from total discharge.
  • Never heat the battery or throw it into an open fire.
  • Never dispose of battery cells in household waste.
  • Avoid moisture on the battery contacts.
  • The optimal operating temperature for the battery is between 10° C and 30° C. Temperatures outside this range may reduce power output, range, and performance.
  • Only use the supplied charger. Ensure the correct voltage supply (100 - 240V / 50 - 60 Hz).
  • Do not charge if the charging cable is damaged. Contact customer service if damaged.
  • Battery service life and performance depend on age, care, and usage frequency.
  • For optimum battery life, charge and store the E-Scooter in a dry, clean environment, preferably between 7° C and 15° C.
  • The Folding E-Scooter takes approximately 5 hours to charge. Permanently connecting the charger after charging can negatively affect battery life.
  • Do not cover the E-Scooter or charger during charging.
  • An over-discharged battery is irreparably destroyed and must be replaced for a fee. Batteries should never be completely discharged during operation.

5. Precautions before Riding

  1. Please kindly check:
    • All parts are well installed without damage.
    • The brake is functioning correctly.
    • The folding mechanism is locked.
    • There is sufficient power.
    • The tire is in good condition.
    • The handle is fixed.
  2. You need to:
    • Find an open, flat area of at least 4m x 20m to practice riding, indoors or outdoors.
    • Fully understand the riding surroundings and avoid distractions from cars, pedestrians, or pets.
    • Have a skilled assistant familiar with e-bikes and manual precautions.
    • Dry and brake the bike in a safe place after cleaning, as moisture can slow brake reaction.
  3. Please do not:
    • Ride on smooth and wet grounds.
    • Increase the brake distance on rainy days.
    • Use the E-scooter in bad weather conditions such as rain, snow, or ice. If riding is necessary, ensure the brakes are functioning perfectly.
Weather Precautions: Illustrations depict warnings against riding in heavy rain (?️) and snowy conditions (❄️?), emphasizing the need for functional brakes.

6. First Use

Before you begin:

Safety Gear: An illustration shows a person wearing a helmet and protective pads, advising to wear them for safety.
  • Wear a safety helmet and protectors for your own safety.
  • Wear comfortable leisure or sports clothing and flat shoes while riding.
  • Before riding for the first time, ensure you have ample space and no obstacles.
  • Fold the handlebar up and check the tire pressure.
  • Check your E-Scooter before every journey (refer to "Maintenance and Care").
  • Switch on the E-Scooter (refer to "Display Functions").
  • Fold in the kickstand before riding to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • To fold the E-scooter, pull the lock lever of the upright tube first.
  • Refer to the "Using the battery" section for storage information.

7. Precautions for Safe Riding

The E-Scooter is a personal transport tool with specific speeds. Use it in accordance with the safety warnings in this manual to avoid risks such as falling, loss of control, or collision, which could lead to injury or death. Carefully read this manual and obey the following precautions:

  1. When riding, please wear the helmet and protectors.
  2. Do not climb slopes exceeding 15°, and do not accelerate or decelerate sharply on slopes. ⚠️
  3. Be cautious of obstacles or slippery surfaces. Never ride on grass or cobble roads. Do not ride in water over 30mm deep. ⚠️
  4. Before use, confirm that the power supply is full and the tires are properly inflated. ⚠️
  5. DO NOT ride up and down steps. ⚠️
  6. DO NOT ride in the motorway. ⚠️
  7. DO NOT soak the scooter in water. ⚠️
  8. The E-Scooter is a single-person vehicle; please do not ride with multiple people. ⚠️
  9. If you are not familiar with the e-Scooter, please ride slower and carefully.
  10. Due to the nature of lithium batteries, charge it at least once a month.
  11. Battery damage caused by improper use or maintenance is not covered by the warranty.
  12. The E-Scooter is intended for daily transport only. DO NOT use it for extreme sports or other dangerous riding methods.
Riding Scenarios: Illustrations show warnings for riding on slopes (max 15°), in water, on slippery surfaces, with low power, on steps, and in motorways.

8. Maintenance and Care

General Care

  • Before each ride, ensure all screws, lock levers, and quick release clamps are tightened.
  • Make sure the tire pressure is correct.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning. For stubborn dirt, use plastic polish according to the manufacturer's instructions.

ℹ️NOTE!ℹ️

  • Never use alcohol, naphtha, acetone, or other corrosive/volatile chemical solvents, as they can damage the scooter's surfaces and structure.
  • Never clean the Folding E-Scooter with a strong jet of water or a high-pressure cleaner.

⚠️WARNING!⚠️

  • Ensure the Folding E-Scooter is switched off and the charging socket cover is closed before cleaning to avoid electric shock or damage.

Storage

  • Store your Folding E-Scooter in a dry and cool place.
  • A well-maintained battery provides good performance. Charge the battery after each ride and avoid operating on an empty charge. Battery performance may decrease at low temperatures.

ℹ️NOTE!ℹ️

  • Do not store the scooter outdoors. Exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures can accelerate aging of plastic parts and reduce battery life.
  • Turn off the Folding E-Scooter after each ride and charge the battery. Over-discharged batteries can be irreparably damaged. Damage from incorrect use is not covered by warranty. Removing or opening the battery is not permitted.

Additional Warnings:

  • Devices are not intended for use at elevations greater than 2000 m above sea level.
  • Prolonged exposure to UV Rays, Rain, and the Elements may damage enclosure materials. Store indoors when not in use.
  • WARNING – Risk of Fire – No User Serviceable Parts.

Adjusting the Brake Callipers

  • Check regularly to ensure brake callipers are properly adjusted.
  • You will need the Allen key and a rubber band.
  • 1. Slightly loosen the two brake calliper mounting bolts until the calliper can be moved.
  • 2. Use the rubber band to hold the brake lever, centering the brake calliper.
  • 3. Tighten both brake calliper mounting bolts again. After removing the rubber band, check if the wheel moves freely.
Brake Calliper Adjustment: An image points out the brake calliper mounting bolts.

ℹ️NOTE!ℹ️ The adjustment procedure is the same for both front and rear brakes.

Tautening/Loosening the Brake Cables

  1. To adjust a brake cable, first loosen the lock nut on the corresponding brake lever.
  2. Turn the adjusting nut to tighten the brake cable (reducing distance between brake shoes and disc) or loosen it (increasing distance).
  3. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut to secure the setting.
Brake Cable Adjustment: Diagram showing the locknut and adjusting nut on the brake lever assembly.

ℹ️NOTE! The setting is correct if the brake shoes are a maximum of 1 mm from the brake disc.
