Outdoor Wi-Fi IP Camera

QC3864 Quick Manual

1. Download APP and Install

Make sure your mobile device can connect to the network.
The Tuya Smart IP Camera supports the 'Tuya Smart' and 'Smart Life' apps. You can find them in your app store or scan a QR code to download. For first-time use, please register an account; otherwise, log in if you already have one.
Please note: 'Tuya Smart' and 'Smart Life' apps cannot connect to the same device at the same time.

2. Check Wireless Network

Verify your router's DHCP function is enabled.
Ensure you are using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz is not supported).
Make sure your smartphone is connected to the network.

3. Connection Setting

Step 1: Open Tuya Smart APP Home Page

Open the Tuya Smart APP home page.
Click the '+' icon in the upper right corner. (Referenced as pic1)

Step 2: Select Device Type

On the 'Security & Sensor' page, choose 'Smart Camera'. (Referenced as pic2)

Step 3: Power On and Prompt Tone

On the 'Add Device' page, ensure the camera is powered on and you hear a 'Ding ding ding' prompt tone. (Referenced as pic3)
If the tone is not heard, please press and hold the 'Reset' button for 8 seconds to reboot the device, then start again.

Step 4: Enter Wi-Fi Password

Input your Wi-Fi password and click 'Confirm'. (Referenced as pic4)
The mobile phone will display a QR code. Hold the camera approximately 15 to 20 cm in front of the mobile phone for the camera to scan the QR code. Click 'Continue'. (Referenced as pic5)

Step 5: Scan QR Code and Connect

Hold the QR code target in front of the camera about 20-30 cm.
After hearing the beep sound, click 'Heard the beep'. (Referenced as pic6)
The device will show 'Connecting'. Connection success is indicated when the process reaches 100%. (Referenced as pic7)

6. Remote View and Settings

You can remotely view the camera feed, set alarms, use two-way speak, or playback recordings. (Referenced as pic8)
Click the '...' icon in the upper right corner to check device information and basic settings. (Referenced as pic9)
