Step 1: Install the AQUILA PRO AI App

Search for and install the free AQUILA PRO AI app from the App Store [Download on the App Store] or Google Play [Get it on Google Play].

Note: Please activate your newly registered account within 7 days. If the verification email landed in your Spam folder, move it to your Inbox to click the activation button.

Step 2: Launch the App

Launch the AQUILA PRO AI app from your device's home screen.

Step 3: Sign In or Create Account

Sign in using an email account. If you have a D-Link account, tap "Sign In". This allows you to use cloud services to control and manage your device, including third-party voice control apps. If you do not have an account, tap "Create Account" to Sign Up.

Sign In Screen Description: Displays fields for "Email" and "Password", with options for "Sign In", "Forgot Password?", and "Create Account".

Sign Up Screen Description: Displays fields for "Email", "Set Password", and "Name (Optional)". Includes checkboxes for agreeing to "Terms of Use and Privacy Policy" and certifying age, and an option to receive D-Link product emails.

Step 4: Start Setup and Scan Device

Tap "Install New Device" or the [+] icon in the middle of the app screen. Scan the Setup code located on the device label at the bottom of the router. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Scan QR Code Screen Description: Prompts to "Scan the QR Code on the Device". Notes that the QR code is located on the bottom or side of the device.

Step 5: Configure Router Setup

Select "Set Up as Router" if you plan to use the device as a router.

Network Setup Screen Description: Shows an option to "Set Up as Router" and "Set Up as Range Extender".

Connect Hardware Description: Instructions to turn off the DSL or modem, remove batteries if powered by batteries, connect the router's INTERNET port to the modem using the included Ethernet cable, then turn on the modem and wait for it to boot up.

Power On Router Description: Plug the router into a power outlet and press the power button.

Ready for Configuration Description: Indicates that the device boot process is complete when the LED turns from red to Blinking Orange (about 2 minutes). If the LED does not change within 5 minutes, a link is provided for more information.

Step 6: Set Wi-Fi Name and Password

Modify your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and set a secure unique password. Alternatively, you can use the default Wi-Fi name and password by clicking "Use the default Wi-Fi name and password".

Wireless Network Setup Screen Description: Fields to set "Wi-Fi Name" and "Wi-Fi Password". An option to "Use the default Wi-Fi name and password" is available.

Step 7: Set Device Name and Admin Password

Set the Device Name and Device/Admin Password, then tap "NEXT".

Note: It is strongly recommended to change the default device password for accessing the router's configuration page.

Device Configuration Screen Description: Fields to set "Device Name" and "Device Password". Provides guidance for naming devices for voice control (e.g., "Living Room").

Step 8: Confirm Settings

To save a screenshot of your device settings, tap the [Camera icon] below, then hit "Next".

Settings Confirmation Screen Description: Displays the configured "Device Name", "Device Password", "Wi-Fi Name", and "Wi-Fi Password". Instructs not to disconnect the device until rebooted and to keep the mobile device nearby.

Step 9: Device Restarting

The device is now restarting and saving its settings.

Restarting Device Screen Description: Shows progress bars indicating "Restarting the device, please wait..." with percentages like 3% and 99%.

Step 10: Connect to Wi-Fi Network

Go to the network settings of your mobile device and ensure you are connected to the Wi-Fi network.

Connect to Your Device Screen Description: Instructs to go to mobile device network settings and connect to the specified Wi-Fi network (e.g., "Harmony_Wi-Fi"). Then, return to the AQUILA PRO AI app to continue the installation by tapping "I Have Connected".

Step 11: Power On Second M30

Power on the second M30 router. Wait for its LED to turn from blinking orange to solid white. Once it becomes solid white, click "Continue" and press "Next".

Step 12: Setup Complete

Setup is complete. After adding both M30 2-Packs, verify your connection by connecting to your D-Link router to confirm if Wi-Fi is working, or use other devices to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Congratulations Screen Description: Displays a "Congratulations" message and indicates that a steady white light means settings have been applied. It suggests waiting a few seconds for network topology.

Network Status Screen Description: Shows "Extenders: 1", "Clients: 1", "Home Wi-Fi". Lists features like "Wi-Fi", "AI Assistant", "Parental Control", "Voice Control", "Health Mode", "Client Priority". Includes a link to "Learn more about AQUILA PRO AI".
