Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Assemble First Frame Side
Take one wooden support beam and the central support rail. Use the hex key (100006) and three long screws (100229) to attach the central support rail to the wooden beam. Ensure the plastic slat holders on the beam are oriented correctly, with the tab inserted into the corresponding slot on the central rail. The diagram shows the correct insertion of the plastic holders.

Step 2: Attach Second Wooden Beam
Attach the second wooden support beam to the other side of the central support rail using three long screws (100229) and the hex key. Ensure correct alignment. The diagram shows the screw insertion and indicates with a cross mark (❌) an incorrect method.

Step 3: Insert First Slat Bands
Unroll the two bed slat rolls (139221). Take the end of one slat band and insert it into the plastic holders on one side of the assembled frame. Push the band firmly into each holder. The diagram shows the direction of insertion with an arrow ([arrow-right]).

Step 4: Continue Inserting Slat Bands
Continue inserting the slat bands into the plastic holders along the entire length of the frame. Ensure each slat is securely seated in its holder. The diagram shows the process with an arrow ([arrow-right]) indicating the direction of insertion.

Step 5: Ensure Slat Seating
Once all slat bands are inserted, check that each slat is properly seated in all plastic holders. The diagram shows a close-up of the slats in the holders, with correct and incorrect hand placements illustrated. A cross mark (❌) indicates the incorrect method for ensuring slats are seated.

Step 6: Attach End Beams
Attach the two outer wooden beams to the ends of the slat bands. Use three long screws (100229) for each end beam, securing them to the plastic holders. This step uses the remaining six long screws.

Step 7: Secure the Base
Use the four short screws (109049) and four washers (100823) to further secure the assembled slat base. Place a washer onto each screw, then insert the screws through the designated holes in the outer wooden beams and into the frame structure. Tighten with a screwdriver (tool not included).

Step 8: Place in Bed Frame
Your LÖNSET bed slat base is now assembled. Place it inside your bed frame. The information icon (ⓘ) indicates this is the final step.

Safety and Care
The LÖNSET bed slat base is designed to provide support for mattresses. Ensure it is placed on a level surface within a suitable bed frame. Do not overload the bed. For cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth.
