Connecting STREAM Devices in Parallel
Step 1: Connect the STREAM devices in parallel.
This step involves connecting the sub-devices to each other. The diagram shows two STREAM devices labeled 'Sub Device'. They are connected using a cable that links the 'PAR' (Parallel) ports of each device. A close-up view shows a 'Click' sound indicating a secure connection, and a cable labeled '+PH-C' connecting the two devices.
Diagram Description: Two STREAM devices are shown side-by-side. A cable connects the 'PAR' port of the left device to the 'PAR' port of the right device. Arrows indicate the direction of connection. Above these devices, a magnified view shows the connection point with a 'Click' indicator.
Below the 'Sub Device' illustrations, there are three circles, possibly representing additional devices that can be connected in parallel.
Step 2: Connect the main device to the grid.
This step connects the primary STREAM device (labeled 'Main Device') to the electrical grid. The diagram shows the 'Main Device' connected to the grid via a cable originating from its 'GRID' port. The grid is represented by a symbol of a power pylon.
Diagram Description: The 'Main Device' is shown connected to the grid. A cable runs from the 'GRID' port of the 'Main Device' to a symbol representing the electrical grid (power pylon).
Important Notes:
- ? Perform the parallel connection only when the main device is disconnected from your home electrical circuit.
- ⚙️ You can parallel up to 6 devices in a STREAM system.
- ✔️ Keep the protective cap on any unused terminal.
