Specific Warnings and Limitations:
Attention!
- The pump is not suitable for long-term operation, such as circulation pumps in ponds or watercourses. In this mode of operation, the service life is reduced accordingly. In such cases, use a timer and provide sufficient rest phases between operating cycles.
- The pump is not suitable as a permanent and automatic overflow protection device for cisterns and wells or for regulating groundwater in basements.
- The pump can only be used to pump water.
- The pump must not be connected to the existing water network as a pressure booster.
- Only use this device after carefully reading and understanding the user manual. Observe all safety instructions mentioned in the manual and behave responsibly towards other people.
- Should you have doubts regarding the connection and use of the device, please contact a qualified person.
- The pump must not run dry under any circumstances. Please note that repeated activation of the dry-running protection reduces the pump's service life accordingly.
- The chain stop must not be used as an operating stop.
Intended Use:
- The pump is exclusively intended for draining, transferring, and pumping from containers in the home, garden, farm, and agriculture, and must only be used for water, taking into account the technical characteristics and safety instructions.

Risk of Electric Shock!
This device is not intended for use by persons with limited physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge (including children), unless a person responsible for their safety supervises them or has instructed them on how to use the device properly.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device. Instruct children and unauthorized persons to always stay away from the device.
Operation is only permitted with a residual current device (RCD, residual current max. 30 mA). Before commissioning, a qualified electrician must check whether the necessary electrical safety measures are in place. National regulations must be observed.
The electrical connection is made exclusively via a socket. Ensure that the socket is protected from water and moisture and that the plug is protected from moisture.
Check the voltage. The technical specifications indicated on the rating plate must correspond to the mains voltage.
Only use an extension cord approved for outdoor use.
Never grasp the pump connected to the electricity by the cable, do not immerse it, lift it, or transport it by the cable!
Before using the device, check that the electrical cable and/or the socket are not damaged. To avoid any danger, a damaged power cable must be replaced by the manufacturer. Never carry out repairs yourself.
Keep the power cord away from hot objects, oil, and sharp edges.
Disconnect the power plug before immersion, after decommissioning, during troubleshooting, and before maintenance.
When the pump is in operation, neither people nor animals should be in the liquid to be pumped or immersed in it (e.g., swimming pools, basements, etc.).
The pump must not run dry.
Never operate the pump unsupervised to avoid damage from potential malfunctions. Always disconnect the pump from the mains electricity when it is not in use.
The liquid temperature must not exceed 35 °C.
Lubricant leakage could lead to liquid contamination.
If the pump is used in ponds, wells, etc., as well as in corresponding hydraulic installations, it is imperative to observe the pump operating standards in force in the respective country.
The user is responsible to third parties for the use of the pump (water installation, etc.).
User Requirements:

Operation
When the pump is immersed at an angle, air escapes through the automatic purge device. In case of low liquid height, any air drawn in or present in the pump escapes through the automatic purge device. Liquid may also flow out at this point. If the pump has priming problems at low liquid levels, unplug and replug the power plug several times to aid priming.
Automatic Operation:
In automatic mode, the float switch automatically controls the pumping process. The pump starts as soon as the float switch reaches the start height due to the rising liquid level. The pump stops as soon as the float switch reaches the stop height due to the falling liquid level. Ensure the float switch has freedom of movement.
Maintenance
- Always disconnect the plug from the socket before carrying out any work on the device.
- Always perform a visual inspection to check if the device in general and the power cord in particular are damaged.
- The device must not be used if it is damaged or if the safety devices are defective.
- If the device is defective, repair can only be carried out by the after-sales service. Use only original accessories and spare parts.
- To ensure a long service life for the pump seals, we recommend rinsing the pump regularly with clean water.
- For winter storage, ensure there is no water in the device, as frost could damage it. Before transporting, disconnect the power plug from the power supply. The pump must be completely emptied and stored frost-free. The adhesion of mechanical seals is reduced when rinsing the pump with a suitable oil (e.g., vegetable oil).
- Only a regularly and carefully maintained device can be a satisfactory aid. Insufficient maintenance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents or even personal injury.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Cause | Proposed Solution |
---|---|---|
Pump does not work | Air present inside the pump | Unplug and replug the pump's power plug several times until liquid is drawn in. |
Suction area blocked | Disconnect the power plug and clean the suction area. | |
Liquid level below minimum | If possible, immerse the pump deeper into the discharge zone. | |
Pump does not start or stops suddenly during operation | Power supply interrupted | Check the connection and re-establish it if necessary. |
Thermal circuit breaker has stopped the pump due to overheating | Disconnect the power plug and clean the suction area. | |
Dirt particles stuck in the suction area | Disconnect the power plug and clean the suction area. | |
Discharge capacity decreases | Suction area blocked | Disconnect the power plug and clean the suction area. |
Flow rate too low | Flow rate depends on the head, diameter, and length of the hose. | Observe the maximum load capacity. If necessary, connect a hose with a larger diameter or reduce the hose length. |
