Vehicle Compatibility

This installation guide is for the TMIT2SN towbar, compatible with the following vehicles:

Parts Identification

The towbar kit includes a crossmember (A), side arms (B), a swan neck (C), a socket plate (D), and various fixings including bolts, nuts, and washers (E-M, X).

Installation Steps

Bumper Removal (Eclipse Cross Only)

  1. Remove rear light clusters and boot shut fixings.
  2. Release wheel arch trim and remove bumper fixings.
  3. Disconnect wiring looms and lower the exhaust silencer.
  4. Mark and cut inner foam for clearance where the towbar will fit.

Towbar Installation

  1. Remove the vehicle's towing eye and rear impact beam.
  2. Remove central bumper fixings.
  3. Insert the crossmember (A) and secure it using specified bolts and washers.
  4. Attach the side arms (B) to the chassis using bolts (F, M).
  5. Connect the side arms (B) to the crossmember (A) using bolts (G, K).
  6. Fit the swan neck (C) and socket plate (D) using bolts (H, K, J).
  7. Tighten all fixings securely.
  8. Re-attach the bumper using original fixings (X).
