Door Lock Installation Guide
-
Check Door Thickness
Ensure the door thickness is between 30 mm and 50 mm. If the door is outside this range, the lock may not operate correctly or may not be installable.
-
Select Installation Position & Attach Template
With the door fully closed, attach the supplied Installation Paper to the indoor side of the door. Make sure the template is perfectly level. (If it's not level, the deadbolt may not align with the Strike or the door may not lock properly.)
-
Drill the Main Hole
Drill a 32 mm diameter hole at the marked point(s) on the Installation Paper. ✔️ This is the main hole for the Connect Cable; accuracy is essential.
-
Temporarily Assemble Outer Body & Back Plate
Use two BH M5×30 mm screws to lightly secure the Outer Body to the Back Plate. (Do not overtighten at this stage; this is only a temporary fix.)
-
Temporarily Attach Inner Body & Check Operation
Temporarily assemble the Inner Body to the Back Plate, then check:
- When the door is closed and the Strike is in position, the auto-lock sensor operates normally.
- With the deadbolt locked, at least 10 mm of the deadbolt is inserted into the Strike.
- The deadbolt moves smoothly when locking/unlocking.
Adjust the Back Plate position as needed based on the above checks.
-
Secure the Outer Body
Align the Outer Body and Back Plate horizontally, then fully secure them. Optional extra reinforcement: use Extra Screws (BH 4.2x20 mm screws, 4pcs) for stronger fixing.
-
Secure the Inner Body
Attach the Inner Body to the Back Plate using two OH 4x30 mm screws and two OH 4x25 mm screws.
-
Install the Strike
Fix the Strike to the door frame with four BH 4.2x20 mm screws. If height adjustment is needed, add Strike Spacers. (Depending on spacer height, BH 4.2x32 mm screws may be used.)
-
Final Test
After installation, operate the lock/unlock function several times from the indoor side to confirm normal operation. If the lock does not engage or the deadbolt catches, finely adjust the Strike or Back Plate position.
Extra Tips
- Before installation, ensure Connect Cable for both the Outer Body and Inner Body is not bent or pinched.
- When using a power drill, avoid excessive speed to prevent door damage.
- After installation, before inserting the batteries and powering on, double-check that all screws are securely tightened.
