How to Programme the Timer
The timer supports two watering operations: Automatic and Manual.
Automatic Operation
- Set the current time: Turn the dial to the nearest hour on the Grey scale (24-hour clock) then press the button. An audible beep confirms the setting.
- Set the watering start time: Turn the dial to the nearest hour for the desired start time on the Grey scale (24-hour clock) then press the S button. An audible beep confirms the setting.
- Set the watering frequency: Turn the dial to the desired setting on the Green scale (hours: every 6, 8, 12, or 24 hours; or days: every 2, 3, or 7 days) then press the Green button. An audible beep confirms the setting.
- Set the watering duration: Turn the dial to the required number of watering minutes on the Blue scale then press the Blue button. An audible beep confirms the setting.
- Turn the dial to AUTO to start the selected programme.
Automatic OFF
Turn the dial to ON or OFF. To return to Automatic watering, re-select AUTO.
To change current time, start time, watering frequency, or duration, turn the dial to the desired setting and press the relevant button. It is not necessary to reset all settings.
Manual Operation
Manual ON
Turn the dial anti-clockwise to ON. Water will flow for a maximum of 60 minutes or until turned to the OFF setting. After 60 minutes, water shuts off, but the knob will remain at ON and needs to be manually set to OFF or to a desired number of automatic watering minutes.
Manual OFF
Turn the dial clockwise to OFF.
Note: Operation is only audible when the valve opens and closes. To check if the timer is working, switch to manual ON or OFF to hear the valve operate.
Connecting the Timer to the Tap
Use the supplied adaptors if required. Tighten to ensure no leaks.
