Main Menu Navigation
The main menu provides access to core functions:
- Intercom: Access call logs and visitor history.
- Messages: Retrieve messages from the concierge.
- Settings: Adjust ring volume. (Note: Other settings are password protected).
Answering Incoming Calls
When a visitor calls:
- The visitor dials the apartment number on the external code pad, ending with the [bell symbol].
- The ICom 7R video monitor will sound an electronic tone and display the calling entry.
- To answer, press the audio hands-free button [speaker icon] located to the right of the screen. This establishes two-way audio communication with the external entry station.
Granting Access
To allow a visitor entry:
- Press the video monitor button with the key symbol [key icon] to the right of the screen. This will release the door or gate.
- If a lift control system is integrated, this same key button also activates the lift function.
Ending Calls
To conclude a conversation:
- Press the audio hands-free button [speaker icon] again. The video link will automatically time out.
Viewing Missed Calls & Messages
Missed Calls:
- From the main menu, select 'Intercom'.
- Then, select 'Records' from the intercom menu to view the call log.
- Each entry may show an image capture from the call.
- Messages can be deleted by pressing the [close button] on the bottom of the screen.
Concierge Messages:
- From the main menu, select 'Messages'.
- This displays a log of messages. Click on any item to retrieve the audio message.
Calling Concierge
To contact the building concierge:
- From the main menu, select 'Intercom'.
- Select 'Calls' from the intercom menu.
- Choose 'Concierge' from the call menu.
Note: The 'Building' button within the call menu is not active.
System Limitations
- Cameras: The 'Cameras' function on the intercom menu is not enabled for use.
- Settings: The 'Settings' function on the main menu is primarily for adjusting ring volume. Other advanced functions are protected by password and are not accessible.
