Assembly Steps
Step 1
Assemble the base frame. Attach the side supports to the bottom frame using the specified screws (e.g., 4x Part No. 10099819). Use the Allen key (130445) for tightening.
Step 2
Attach the main vertical supports and crossbars to form the main structure of the unit. Ensure parts are aligned correctly. This step may require two people ?.
Step 3
Install the lower shelf. Slide or fix the slatted shelf into the designated slots or attachment points on the base frame.
Step 4
Attach the upper horizontal supports that will hold the countertop. Use the appropriate screws and the Allen key.
Step 5: Countertop Preparation
Prepare the countertop for the sink. Measure and mark the position for the sink. The diagram indicates marking points 10 cm (approximately 3 15/16 inches) from the edges. Drill a hole for the sink using a drill bit of Ø 10 mm (approximately 0 3/8 inches) at the marked center point.
Step 6: Sink Drain Assembly
Prepare the sink drain. The diagram shows a hole of Ø 35 mm (approximately 13 3/4 inches) for the drain fitting. Assemble the drain components as shown, ensuring correct orientation.
Step 7: Install BOHOLMEN Sink
Place the BOHOLMEN sink into the prepared opening in the countertop. Secure the sink using the provided clips (4x Part No. 10123892). Ensure the clips engage firmly.
Step 8: Mount Sink Assembly to Unit
Carefully place the countertop with the attached sink onto the main unit frame. Align the countertop with the upper supports.
Step 9: Secure Sink Assembly
Secure the sink assembly to the unit frame from underneath using screws (4x Part No. 115294). Ensure the unit is stable.
Step 10: Final Countertop Placement
With assistance from another person ?, ensure the countertop is correctly positioned and stable on the unit frame.
Step 11: Install KALLSJÖN Faucet
Install the KALLSJÖN faucet into the pre-drilled hole on the countertop. Connect the water supply lines as per the faucet's specific instructions (not detailed here).
Step 12: Drain Pipe Assembly
Assemble the sink's drain pipe components. Connect the elbow piece and the main body of the drain.
Step 13: Drain Pipe Connection
Connect the drain pipe to the sink's waste outlet. Ensure a proper seal. The diagram shows two types of seals, one correct ✔️ and one incorrect ❌.
Step 14: Flexible Drain Hose
Connect the flexible drain hose to the drain pipe assembly. Ensure the hose is securely attached and not kinked. The diagram shows correct hose connection ❌ indicates incorrect connection.
Step 15: Connect Drain to Unit
Route the flexible drain hose and connect it to the unit's plumbing outlet. The diagram shows securing the hose with a clip or bracket.
Step 16: Final Drain Check
Complete the drain connection. Ensure there is adequate clearance (e.g., 15 mm) for the hose. Check for proper sealing. The diagram shows correct and incorrect pipe bending ❌.
Step 17: Attach Side Panels/Supports
Attach any remaining side panels or decorative elements to the unit frame using the specified screws (e.g., 2x Part No. 10042206).
Step 18: Secure Top Surface
Ensure the main countertop is securely fastened to the unit frame. Use screws (e.g., 2x Part No. 10108757) for this purpose.
Step 19: Attach Doors (Part 1)
Attach the hinges to the doors. Use screws (e.g., 3x Part No. 10042206) for each hinge. Ensure hinges are correctly oriented.
Step 20: Mount Doors (Part 2)
Attach the doors with hinges to the main unit frame. Align the hinges with the pre-drilled holes on the unit and secure them with screws (e.g., 2x Part No. 10042206). The diagram shows correct and incorrect mounting ❌.
Step 21: Adjust Doors
Fine-tune the door alignment using the adjustment screws on the hinges. The diagram shows how to adjust the doors for proper fit and closure.
Step 22: Secure Back/Internal Structure
Secure any back panels or internal structural elements using screws (e.g., 8x Part No. 10042206).
Step 23: Install Door Hinges
Attach the hinge plates to the inside of the unit frame. Use screws (e.g., 6x Part No. 10102170) for this. Ensure correct placement for door swing.
Step 24: Final Door Attachment
Connect the doors to the unit by attaching the hinges to the hinge plates. Use screws (e.g., 3x Part No. 10042206) to secure them. The diagram shows the connection process.
Step 25: Final Adjustments
Make final adjustments to the doors for proper alignment and closure. The diagram indicates a "Click!" sound when parts are correctly seated.
Step 26: Leveling
Adjust the leveling feet (4x Part No. 10099819) at the base of the unit to ensure it is stable and level on the floor. Turn the feet clockwise to raise and counter-clockwise to lower.
