Televes High-gain mast amplifier (LTE700, 2nd Digital Dividend)
Product Overview
Reference: 535720
EAN13: 8424450215005
This is a high-gain masthead amplifier designed for amplifying terrestrial television signals from multiple antennas. It features 3 inputs covering FM, BIII/DAB, and UHF bands, with amplification across all bands. The amplifier is powered via the output coaxial cable with 24 Vdc and is RED compliant.
Key Features:
- Independent amplification for each individual band
- Manually-adjusted high-gain
- EasyF connection system
- Fully automated manufacturing adhering to stringent quality controls
- High-screening Zamak chassis
- LTE700/5G filter to mitigate mobile phone interference
- ON/OFF switch for DC pass to the UHF input, enabling BOSS system powering
- Easy mounting with a plastic tie for mast installation
- Resistant ABS-plastic orange case suitable for outdoor installation
EasyF Connection System: Simplicity and Savings
The EasyF connection system is an innovative concept where the coaxial cable's inner conductor is inserted directly into the device, enhancing connection reliability. The absence of F connectors allows for a reduced chassis size and a secure connection of two cables with a single screw.
Benefits:
- Real-time savings: Simplifies installation by eliminating the need for coaxial cable termination and connector screwing, which can be challenging in tight spaces.
- Connection reliability: The cable clamp prevents coaxial cables from detaching.
- Cost savings: Eliminates the need for additional F or IEC connectors.
- Space optimization: Inputs and outputs are located on the same side, preventing coaxial cable bending and facilitating work within cabinets and register boxes.
- Easy three-step mounting: Requires only screwing and unscrewing covers to connect cables.
Mounting Steps:
- Unscrew the device's cover to access the connection point.
- Insert the previously stripped coaxial cables.
- Close the cover and screw to ensure a secure connection.
The EasyF system utilizes an automated process for inner conductor contact insertion, eliminating the need for soldering. This contributes to increased device operating life, reduced failure rates (often caused by cold soldering joints), optimized electromagnetic behavior for high frequencies, and a reduced environmental impact due to the elimination of welding processes and lower production power consumption.
Application Example
A diagram illustrates a typical setup. A TV antenna (UHF, BIII, FM) is connected to the Televes mast amplifier (Ref. 535720). The amplifier is powered by a 24V DC source through the coaxial cable. The output signal is then fed to a MATV distribution system.
