Extended Warranty
Available in the U.S. only. Extend your warranty for an additional 4 years from the date of purchase for $5. Payment can be made via AMEX, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard by calling 1-800-448-4639 during normal business hours. Payment must be made within 30 days of purchase. Please read these instructions carefully to understand how to operate your Timex watch. Your specific model may not include all features described in this booklet.
Key Functions
This watch includes the following functions:
- Real-time calendar clock

- INDIGLO® night-light with Night-Mode® Feature
Basic Operation
When setting functions, each button has a specific role. The watch face will indicate when a button's function changes.
Button Functions During Setting:
- SET OR DONE: To save changes and exit setting mode.
- MODE OR NEXT: To proceed to the next step in setting.
- START/LAP or +: Increases value. Hold to increase rapidly.
- STOP/RESET OR -: Decreases value. Hold to decrease rapidly.
Watch Display Elements:
- INDIGLO® Button: Activates the INDIGLO® night-light.
- START/LAP: Used for starting/lapping in Chrono mode, starting timers, and increasing values.
- STOP/RESET: Used for stopping/resetting timers and chronographs, and decreasing values.
- MODE: Cycles through different watch modes (Time, Chrono, Timer, Alarm, etc.).
- SET/RECALL: Used to enter setting modes and recall stored data.

Time, Date, and Hourly Chime Setup
- In TIME mode, press and hold SET/RECALL. The time zone will flash.
- To set, press + or - to select the first or second time zone.
- Press NEXT. The hour digits will flash.
- Press + or - to change the hour, including AM/PM. (Scroll through 12 hours to get to AM/PM).
- Press NEXT. The minute digits will flash.
- Press + or - to change the minutes.
- Press NEXT. The second digits will flash.
- Press + or - to set the seconds to zero.
- Continue this pattern to set the month, day of the month, year, 12-hour or 24-hour time display, MM.DD or DD.MM date format, turn the hourly chime on/off, and turn the beep sound on/off. If you select BEEP on, a beep will sound each time you press a button (except the INDIGLO® button).
- Press DONE to confirm and exit, or press NEXT to continue and set the second time zone if desired.
- While in Time mode, press and hold START/LAP to briefly view the second time zone. Hold for 4 seconds to switch between time zones.
Chronograph
The chronograph measures elapsed time, lap times, and split times.
(Table Description: Shows sample lap and split times, e.g., LAP 1 = 7.11, SPLIT 1 = 7.11, LAP 2 = 7.50, SPLIT 2 = 15.01, etc.)
- Press MODE until CHRONO appears.
- Press and hold SET/RECALL.
- The display will read: FORMAT/SET. Select either LAP/SPL or SPL/LAP options.
- Press + or - to select the desired format.
- Press DONE to confirm and exit.
- To use the chronograph, press START/LAP. The chronograph continues to run even if you exit the mode.
- Press STOP/RESET to stop the chronograph. While the chronograph is running, press START/LAP to take a split time. Lap and split times will be displayed in the selected format. The lap number will alternate with the last two digits of the bottom line.
Note: Lap and split times will appear frozen for 10 seconds. Press MODE to release the display and see the running chronograph.
Interval Timer
This timer features four segments: Warm Up, Interval 1, Interval 2, and Cool Down.
To Set:
- Press MODE until INTTMR appears.
- Press SET/RECALL; wait for WARMUP to flash.
- Press NEXT. Hour digits flash. Press + or - to change hours.
- Press NEXT. Minute digits flash. Press + or - to change minutes.
- Press NEXT. Second digits flash. Press + or - to set seconds.
- Press NEXT to proceed to INT 1. Follow steps 3-5 to set.
- Complete setup for INT2 and COOL using steps 3-5.
- Press NEXT to confirm and exit.
- Press START/LAP to start the Interval Timer.
Notes:
- When the first countdown is complete, the timer proceeds to the next non-zero interval that is set. The INDIGLO® night-light flashes and a beep sounds between each interval.
- If you set both timers to repeat, the timer will countdown both intervals and then repeat the entire sequence.
- Press and hold STOP/RESET to reset the Interval Timer.
Timer
- Press MODE repeatedly until TIMER appears.
- Press SET/RECALL. Hour digits flash.
- Follow the same pattern as setting TIME and ALARM to set hours, minutes, and seconds. Select between REPEAT/AT END (timer counts down and then repeats) or STOP/AT END (timer counts down and then stops).
- Press DONE to confirm and exit.
- Press START/LAP to start the TIMER. The timer will continue to run even if you exit the mode. If REPEAT/END is selected, it will flash. If STOP/END is selected, it will flash.
- An alarm melody will chime when the timer reaches zero or before it starts counting down again.
- Press STOP/RESET to stop the TIMER. Press again to reset to the countdown time.
Review
- Press MODE until REVIEW displays.
- Press START/LAP to select a workout to view, then press SET to view the data for that workout.
- Press + and - to scroll through the workout data.
- Press SET to go back to the list of saved workouts.
- Press MODE to exit.
Note: Press and hold SET to clear workout memory.
Alarm
Setting the alarm is similar to setting the time.
- Press MODE repeatedly until ALARM appears.
- Press SET/RECALL to set an alarm.
- Hour digits flash. Press + or - to change the hour.
- Press NEXT. Minute digits flash. Press + or - to change the minutes.
- Press NEXT. If in 12-hour format, AM/PM flashes. Press + or - to change.
- Press NEXT. Press + or - to select DAILY, WEEKDAYS, or WEEKENDS.
- Press DONE to confirm and exit.
- Press START/LAP or STOP/RESET to arm or disarm the alarm. When disarmed, OFF will be displayed. When armed, the alarm clock icon ⏰ will appear.
- The INDIGLO® night-light and alarm icon flash, and an alert sounds when the alarm goes off. Press any button to silence it. A backup alarm will sound after five minutes if no buttons are pressed.
INDIGLO® Night-Light / NIGHT-MODE® Feature
Press the INDIGLO® button to activate the night-light. This feature uses electroluminescent technology to illuminate the entire watch face at night or in low-light conditions. While the night-light is on, pressing any button will keep it illuminated for three seconds.
Press and hold the INDIGLO® button for 4 seconds to activate the NIGHT-MODE® feature. The moon icon ? will appear. Once activated, any button press will cause the INDIGLO® night-light to stay on for 3 seconds. The NIGHT-MODE® feature will remain active for 8 hours or until deactivated by pressing and holding the INDIGLO® button again for 4 seconds.
Water Resistance
If your watch is water-resistant, a meter marking or (O) will be indicated.

- The watch remains water-resistant only as long as the lens, push buttons, and case remain intact.
- This watch is not a diver's watch and should not be used for diving.
- Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
Battery
Timex strongly recommends that a retailer or jeweler replace the battery. The battery type is indicated on the watch back. If present, push or short the internal reset switch after replacing the battery. Battery life estimates are based on certain usage assumptions; actual battery life may vary.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERY IN FIRE. DO NOT RECHARGE. KEEP LOOSE BATTERIES AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
