1. APP Download Process Description

This section details the process for downloading and installing the companion application for the TR113 radio.

  1. Step One: Turn on the TR113 radio and your mobile phone.
  2. Step Two: Download the APP. If you already have the "Radio-C" software, you can connect directly to the product named "Retekess-TR113".
    • For Android and Harmony OS phones: Scan the provided QR code using your phone's browser to install the APP. Detailed operations can be found in section 2.1. Alternatively, use the "WeChat scan" QR code on your phone for installation, with detailed operations in section 2.2.
    • For Apple iOS phones: Go to the "APP Store", search for "Radio-CT", and download it. You can also scan the provided QR code to be directed to the APP Store interface for download.

2. APP Usage Interface Description

2.1 Symbol Description of the Operation Interface

This subsection describes the symbols and their corresponding button functions within the APP interface.

  • Symbol: Bandwidth
    Description: Bandwidth display.
  • Symbol: SNR
    Description: Signal-to-noise ratio display.
  • Symbol: RSSI
    Description: Signal strength display.
  • Symbol: SQL
    Description: Noise reduction level setting. In SW/CB/VHF/UHF/AIR working modes, tap the [SQL] button on the APP interface to display the SQ level setting: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Level 9. Users can directly "click" the corresponding value to make a selection.
  • Symbol: Band [FM]
    Description: Band indication. Tap this symbol to quickly select FM, AM, SW, AIR, CB, UHF, WB, VHF bands.
  • Symbol: MEMO / Present
    Description: Press the [MEMO] button lightly. "Present" will appear in the normal display state, entering station retrieval mode. In the numeric keyboard area, tap the corresponding number key to retrieve the memorized station, then press the "EN" [Enter button] to confirm. If you press numeric keys and the display [PRESET--] flashes, it means the station number you clicked has no corresponding stored station. You can also press the [navigation button] to select the station number. Long press the [MEMO] button; the "Present" item flashing indicates entry into manual save mode. After selecting the target frequency, press and hold the [MEMO] button until "Present" flashes. Press the [navigation button] to select the address number to save the station. Press and hold the [MEMO] button to confirm to complete manual station saving.

    Description: Battery indicator.

    Description: Edit frequency name: long press this location and enter the current frequency name according to the language prompts (e.g., FM99.1MHz).

    Description: Retrieve the station: Tap the [navigation button] to enter retrieval mode, press the [navigation button] to select the corresponding station; you can also click the number keys and then press the [EN] [Enter button] to confirm. Manually access radio stations: Find the target frequency, long press the [MEMO] button, the "Present" symbol flashes, then press the [navigation button] to select the station you want to save, and then lightly press the [MEMO] button to save it.

    Description: Play & pause button.
  • Symbol: MUSIC
    Description: Music playback mode switching button: Press this button lightly to switch the playback mode between "TF card/ Bluetooth/ AUX-IN".
  • Symbol: Numeric Keyboard (123 456 789 ENTER)
    Description: Station retrieval key: In the numeric keyboard area, tap the station address number directly and press the [Enter button] to confirm. If "Present--" is displayed, it means it is an empty station. In TF card playback mode, tap the song number in the numeric keyboard area and press the [Enter button] to confirm.
  • Symbol: METE
    Description: FM frequency modulation mode: select the frequency range of FM reception; AM medium wave mode: select the step value of medium wave; in the SW shortwave/VHF very high frequency/UHF ultra high frequency/AIR aviation band, select meter wave.
  • Symbol: V-UHF
    Description: Switch key for VHF very high frequency/UHF ultra high frequency/AIR aviation band/CB city band/WB North American weather band.
  • Symbol: Alarm (Implied)
    Description: Tap to activate the alarm function, tap again to cancel the alarm function. Long press to select: alarm clock mode/power-on mode. Click any mode to enter the alarm time setting (select the alarm to be the "beep..." sound when the radio reaches the power-on time, select the power-on to be the radio to turn on when the power-on time is reached).
  • Symbol: BW-DM
    Description: Press the [BW-DM] button to set the bandwidth value of each band. In FM or SW receiving mode, press and hold the [BW-DM] button. When the receiving demodulation mode flashes, press the [BW-DM] button again to switch. In FM mode, long press the [BW-DM] button, the demodulation mode switches to -ST/WFM. In SW mode, long press the [BW-DM] button, the demodulation mode switches to -AM/LSB/USB.
  • Symbol: +/- Keys
    Description: Plus and minus keys: frequency increment & decrement/ select songs/save stations, retrieve station address number selection.
  • Symbol: ANT-ATT
    Description: Choose from two modes: short-range LOCAL and long-range DX. Press and hold the [ANT-ATT] button, and when the LOCAL/DX characters flash on the main screen, tap the [ANT-ATT] button again to switch between the two modes.
  • Symbol: VOL+/-
    Description: VOL+: Volume increases. VOL-: Volume decreases.
  • Symbol: BAND
    Description: Tap to switch between FM (frequency modulation), MW (medium wave), LW (long wave), and SW (short wave) bands.
  • Symbol: Power Button (Implied)
    Description: Press lightly to turn on, long press to turn off. After shutting down the APP interface, the radio will display the time status. Press and hold the radio [Power Button Symbol] key, the APP connection symbol [Connection Symbol] on the main frequency LCD disappears, and you can quickly exit the APP.
  • Symbol: MUTE
    Description: Press and hold the [MUTE] button to enable the mute function. When mute, the [MUTE] symbol flashes. Press and hold the [MUTE] button again to cancel the mute function.
  • Symbol: LOCK
    Description: Press and hold the [LOCK] button to lock the radio. Press and hold the [LOCK] button again to unlock.
  • Symbol: Connect Button
    Description: Mobile APP connects to TR113 radio entry button.
  • Symbol: Calibrate Time Button
    Description: Device calibration time key (can correct the time displayed on the radio with one click, consistent with that of the mobile phone).
  • Symbol: Sleep Time Button (Implied)
    Description: Tap to enter set sleep time.
  • Symbol: REC
    Description: In radio mode, tap to enter radio mode and perform internal recording. Before recording, please insert the TF card into the radio and then tap it to enter the recording mode. Tap again to exit recording (recorded files can be played in the TF card).
  • Symbol: Demodulation / VOL / STEP / DE-EMP / MONO / MIX / ANT / EQ / TEMPERATURE
    Description: Demodulation mode display; VOL: Volume level display; STEP: Step value display; DE-EMP: De-emphasis display; MONO: Sound channel; MIX: DISPABLE; ANT: Antenna use; EQ: Sound effect; TEMPERATURE: Temperature display.

2.2 Description of Each Working Mode of the APP Interface

This subsection describes the different operating modes available through the APP.

  • Radio Mode: Indicates the product is currently in radio playback mode.
  • Bluetooth Mode: Indicates the product is in Bluetooth connection state. Corresponding audio data can be played via Bluetooth connection. Different playback sound effects can be selected (e.g., NORMAL, POP, ROCK, JAZZ, CLASSIC, COUNTRY).
  • TF Card Mode: Indicates a TF card is inserted and audio data can be played from it. The name of the track being played is displayed at the bottom. Different playback modes can be selected (e.g., all loop playback [rA], single loop playback [rO], current folder song loop [rF], random loop playback [rr]).
  • Computer Connection Mode: Indicates the product is connected to a PC and can play audio files from the computer.
