Precautions
- There may be electric shock danger when you don't operate or use this machine correctly; please strictly operate in accordance with its regulations. Except for authorized repairing personnel, never open the back cabinet arbitrarily to avoid the danger of electric shock.
- Please do not expose the unit to rain or humid places, preventing from water and spray. Do not place anything filled with liquid, like a vase, etc., above this unit.
- Please do not press or bend the AC cord of the unit, in case the copper inside the AC cord breaks and leads to an open circuit.
- When a thunderstorm occurs or you do not use this machine for a long time, please pull out the AC plug. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference. (2) And this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
- Please pull out the batteries when not using DC power supply, so as to avoid batteries leaking liquid and corroding the radio.
- Do not use batteries combined with new and old, or different categories. Please dispose of dumped batteries at designated places to avoid environmental pollution.

Product Diagram and Controls
The Retekess TR626 is a portable 4-band radio with Bluetooth. The front panel features a large speaker grille on the left. The right side has a control panel with the following elements:
- 1. ON/OFF/VOL+/-: Power On/Off and Volume Control knob. Rotating clockwise turns the unit on and increases volume; counter-clockwise turns it off or decreases volume.
- 2. Band selector: Switches between FM, MW, SW, and LW frequency bands.
- 3. FUN selector: Selects the operating mode: BT (Bluetooth) or RADIO.
- 4. Speaker: Integrated speaker for audio output.
- 5. Power indicator: An LED light that indicates the power status. It lights up red when the radio is on and tuned.
- 6. Tuning knob: Used to select radio stations within the selected band.
- 7. Earphone jack: A 3.5mm jack for connecting headphones or earphones for private listening.
- 8. AC power input: Socket for connecting the AC power adapter (supports AC110V and AC220V).
- 9. Antenna: A telescopic rod antenna for FM and SW reception, and an internal magnetic rod antenna for MW and LW reception.
- 10. Handle: A foldable handle for easy portability.
- 11. Battery door: Located on the back, provides access to the battery compartment for four UM-1 batteries.
Operation
Radio Operation
- Rotate the Volume knob to turn on the unit. Set the FUN selector to RADIO position. The red indicator light will be lit. Adjust the volume by rotating the volume knob.
- Select the desired band (FM/MW/SW/LW) using the Band selector. Extend the antenna to get a better signal.
- Rotate the Tuning knob to select a channel. The channel indicator stays red when a channel is properly selected.
- If you prefer private listening, plug an earphone into the earphone jack.
Note:
- If you experience poor reception, please extend the antenna and change its direction to improve signal strength.
- Please handle the Tuning knob and Band selector gently.
Bluetooth Operation
- Rotate the Volume knob to turn on the unit. Set the FUN selector to BT position. The blue indicator light in the upper right corner will blink, indicating it is ready to pair.
- Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your audio device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for "TR626", and select it to pair.
- Once your device is successfully paired, you will hear a short confirmation sound from the unit.
- Play and stream music from your paired device to the radio.
- Rotate the Volume knob to turn off the unit.

To comply with the corresponding requirements, transmitter adjustments should be made only by or under the supervision of a person certified as technically qualified to perform transmitter maintenance and repairs in the private land mobile and fixed services as certified by an organization representative of the user of those services. Replacement of any transmitter component (crystal, semiconductor, etc.) not authorized by the local government radio management departments equipment authorization for this radio could violate the rules.

Protect Your Hearing
- Use the lowest volume necessary.
- Turn up the volume only if you are in noisy surroundings.
- Turn down the volume before adding headset or earpiece.

- When using the radio without a headset or earpiece, do not place the radio's speaker directly against your ear.
- Use earphones carefully; excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
Note: Exposure to loud noises from any source for extended periods of time may temporarily or permanently affect your hearing. The louder the radio's volume, the less time is required before your hearing could be affected. Hearing damage from loud noise is sometimes undetectable at first and can have a cumulative effect.
