Getting Started
Welcome to your new Philips Television. This guide provides essential steps for setup, including connecting devices and mounting options, with clear instructions and safety information.

Wall Mounting Your Television
Important Note: If you choose to wall mount your TV, first remove the screws pre-installed on the TV's back cover. These are not the correct screws for wall mounting and must be removed before proceeding.
VESA Mounting Specifications:
- 50" TV: 200x300mm, M6 screws (Length: 10mm to 16mm)
- 55" TV: 200x300mm, M6 screws (Length: 10mm to 16mm)
- 65" TV: 300x300mm, M6 screws (Length: 12mm to 20mm)
The diagrams illustrate attaching mounting brackets (labeled 'R' and 'L') to the TV back using screws (x4). Ensure you use the correct screws and follow the indicated orientation. The TV with brackets is then attached to the wall mount or stand.
Recommended Viewing Distances:
- Minimum distance: 15 cm [?]
- Recommended distance: 20 cm [?]
- Optimal distance: 120 cm [?]
Connecting Devices
Connect your external devices to the appropriate ports on the back of the TV:
- POWER: Connect the power cord here.
- HDMI 1 (ARC): For audio return channel, typically connected to a soundbar or AV receiver.
- HDMI 2/3/4: For connecting devices like Blu-ray players, game consoles, or set-top boxes.
- USB 1, USB 2: For connecting USB drives or other compatible devices.
- NETWORK: For connecting to your home network (wired or wireless).
- TV ANTENNA (COAXIAL): For connecting an antenna or cable TV signal.
- DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL): For connecting to audio systems using an optical cable.
Remote Control: Insert 2x AAA 1.5V batteries into the remote control.
