TOLLSJÖN Kitchen Mixer Tap with Hand spray
This document provides installation instructions for the TOLLSJÖN kitchen mixer tap with hand spray.
General Information and Safety Precautions
Installation must be performed in compliance with current local construction and plumbing regulations. If in doubt, contact a professional.
Important: Switch off the main shut-off valve before changing the mixer tap.
The tap is designed for water temperatures up to 140°F (60°C), with a maximum of 176°F (80°C).
Water pressure should be between 14.5 - 72.5 psi (0.5 - 5 bar).
Note: Seal open surfaces with silicone to prevent water from penetrating the worktop in case of leaks. Silicone is not included.
Important! Do not tighten too hard, as this can damage hoses/pipes and washers.
Check at regular intervals to ensure the installation is not leaking.
Installation Steps
The following steps outline the installation process. Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance.
Step 1: Preparation
Ensure the main shut-off valve is turned off.
Step 2: Mounting the Tap Base
Place the triangular mounting plate onto the sink or worktop. Insert the flexible hoses through the designated opening.
The tap requires a hole in the worktop with a diameter of Ø 34 - 37 mm (Ø 13/8" - 11/2"). The maximum worktop thickness is 50 mm (2").
Step 3: Securing the Tap
From underneath the sink, slide the provided washers and secure the tap with the nut. Use the included tool (part number 110084) to tighten the nut.
Step 4: Connecting the Hoses
Connect the flexible hoses to the water supply lines. Ensure a secure connection but do not overtighten.
Step 5: Final Checks
Turn on the main shut-off valve and check for any leaks.
Usage and Maintenance
Before first use: Unscrew the hand spray and let the water run freely for 5 minutes to flush out any debris. Then, screw the hand spray back into place.
The hand spray can be rotated approximately 120° and the entire tap can rotate 360°.
The tap comes with an aerator for high-pressure systems. If the water flow is weak, replace the aerator with the included low-pressure aerator.
