Product Description
The BEGA 85130 is a performance floodlight designed for a variety of interior and exterior lighting applications. It features a robust construction from aluminum alloy, aluminum, and stainless steel, finished with BEGA Unidure® coating technology in graphite or silver. The luminaire is equipped with clear safety glass and a silicone gasket.
The reflector surface is made of pure aluminum utilizing BEGA Hybrid Optics®. The floodlight offers a 350° rotation range and a -30°/+80° swivel range, allowing for precise beam direction. The luminaire includes a mounting box with two fixing holes (Ø 4.8 mm, 35 mm spacing) and a cable entry for mains supply cables up to Ø 10.5 mm. It has connecting terminals for 2.5 mm² conductors and an earth conductor connection.
The integrated BEGA Ultimate Driver® complies with flicker requirements according to IEEE 1789, DIN IEC/TR 63158, and DIN IEC/TR 61547-1. It operates with a 220-240 V~ 0/50-60 Hz or DC 176-280 V power supply.
Key specifications include Safety Class I, Protection Class IP 65 (dust-tight and protected against water jets), Impact Strength IK07 (protection against mechanical impacts < 2 joules), and carries the CE conformity mark. The wind catching area is 0.01 m², and the weight is 0.9 kg. This product contains light sources of energy efficiency class D.
Diagrammatic Information: The luminaire has an approximate diameter of 95 mm and a height of 155 mm. The mounting box features two fixing holes with a 4.8 mm diameter, spaced 35 mm apart. The floodlight offers a 350° rotation range and a -30° to +80° swivel range.
Light Technique
The luminaire provides a symmetrical wide beam light distribution with a half beam angle of 21°. For specialized lighting applications, an optional optical filter can be used to change the symmetrical light cone into a flat beam light distribution.

Safety and Installation
Safety Precautions
Installation and operation of this luminaire must comply with national safety regulations. Mounting and commissioning should only be performed by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper use or installation. Any subsequent modifications to the luminaire will render the modifier responsible as the manufacturer.
Overvoltage Protection
The electronic components within the luminaire are protected against overvoltage according to DIN EN 61547. For enhanced protection against transients, separate overvoltage protection components are recommended and available on the BEGA website (www.bega.com). Optimal protection for all electronic components is achieved by using bounce-free switching contacts, such as the electronic relay BEGA 71 320.
Installation Instructions
LEDs are high-quality electronic components; avoid touching the light output surface directly during installation or relamping.
- Loosen the hexagon socket head screw (SW 3) and disassemble the mounting plate.
- Pass the power connecting cable through the cable entry in the mounting plate, noting the "arrow down" orientation for the mounting plate.
- Fix the mounting plate to the mounting surface using the supplied or suitable fixing material. Ensure supplied gasket rings are used.
- Establish the earth conductor connection. Push silicone sleeves over the lines and make the electrical connection. Connect the floodlight unit's green and yellow protective earth conductor to the terminal marked 1 on the mounting plate.
- Ensure the gasket is correctly positioned.
- Place the floodlight unit onto the mounting plate, align, and screw together firmly using the joint screw (SW 3). Tighten the joint screw to a torque of 2.5 Nm.
- Adjust the beam direction by loosening and then tightening the joint screw.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers to remove dirt and deposits. Do not use high-pressure cleaners.
The connecting cable between the mounting box and floodlight must be inspected for external damage and replaced only by a qualified electrician.
Note: Do not remove the desiccant bag located inside the luminaire housing; it is essential for absorbing residual moisture.
LED Module Replacement
The designation of the LED module is marked on a separate label within the luminaire or on the underside of the module itself. BEGA replacement modules match the original modules in light color and output. Replacement can be performed by qualified persons using standard tools.
- Disconnect the system from the power supply.
- Open the floodlight by removing the trim ring, safety glass, and reflector by twisting counter-clockwise.
- Replace the LED module, following the specific installation instructions for the LED module.
- Inspect and replace luminaire gaskets if necessary. Replace any defective glass.
- Place the trim ring with glass and reflector onto the floodlight housing, ensuring the notches align.
- Twist the trim ring clockwise until it stops.
