Geberit AquaClean Tuma Installation Manual

Step 1: Unpacking and Preparation

Carefully unpack the Geberit AquaClean Tuma unit and remove all packaging materials. Prepare the mounting area and ensure all components are present.

The unit includes the main toilet seat and a remote control.

Step 2: Electrical Connection Preparation

Prepare the power cable for connection. Ensure the cable diameter is between 6-12 mm.

Strip the outer sheath of the cable to a length of 31 mm.

Strip the individual conductor wires (Live 'L', Neutral 'N', Earth '?') to a length of 10 mm.

The cross-sectional area of the conductors should be between 1-2.5 mm².

Insert the prepared cable into the cable gland and connect the wires to the corresponding terminals (L, N, Earth). Secure the cable using the cable gland.

Step 3: Water Connection

Connect the water supply hose (Ø 16 mm) to the water inlet valve on the wall.

Dimensions for wall mounting may include 345 mm, 28 mm, and 18 mm.

Step 4: Flushing Water Pipes

Flush the water pipes for at least 10 seconds into a bucket to remove any debris before connecting the unit.

Step 5: Connecting Water Hose to Unit

Connect the water supply hose to the inlet on the Geberit AquaClean Tuma unit. Ensure a secure connection, possibly tightening with a wrench (?).

Step 6: Mounting the Unit

Attach the mounting brackets to the wall according to the specified dimensions.

Position the Geberit AquaClean Tuma unit onto the mounting brackets and secure it firmly.

Ensure the unit is level and stable. Adjustments may be needed, indicated by measurements like 'X' and 'X + 3 mm'.

Step 7: Final Assembly and Connections

Attach the seat and lid to the main unit.

Connect the water supply hose and the electrical power cable to the unit.

Verify all connections are secure and properly tightened.

Check the alignment and fit of the seat and lid.

Installation Variants: Standard vs. Geberit Monolith

This manual covers installation for standard wall-hung toilet installations (5A) and for use with the Geberit Monolith sanitary module (5B).

For Geberit Monolith Installation (5B): Connect the AquaClean Tuma unit to the integrated water and waste connections of the Geberit Monolith system, following specific instructions for that module.

Final Checks

Perform final checks on all water and electrical connections to ensure they are secure and leak-free.
