Timex Ironman T300+ User Manual

This document provides instructions and safety information for the Timex Ironman T300+ watch.

Battery Warning

WARNING:

INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button cell or coin battery. DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested. A swallowed button cell or coin cell battery can cause Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.

Product Features

Note: The T300+ may ship in Power Save mode. Press and hold any button for 4 seconds to turn on the watch. To use the Power Save mode, hold the Back button for 4 seconds.

Button Locations

The Timex T300+ uses a menu-based operating system. Features, functions, and settings are accessed by pressing the MENU button and then using the UP or DOWN buttons to navigate until the desired setting is found. Press the MENU button again to enter the selected setting.

Button Layout:

Time of Day and Date Setting

To set the time and date:

  1. Press the MENU button.
  2. Use UP/DOWN buttons to scroll to 'Setup' and press MENU.
  3. While 'TIME' is highlighted, press MENU.
  4. Press MENU again to set the Time. Use UP/DOWN to select the hour, press MENU to move to minutes. Use UP/DOWN to select the minute, press MENU to move to seconds. Use UP/DOWN to select seconds, press MENU to confirm. Use UP/DOWN to select AM/PM, press MENU to confirm. The watch returns to the SET screen.
  5. Scroll DOWN until 'DATE' is highlighted, press MENU.
  6. Use UP/DOWN to select the month, press MENU to move to the day. Use UP/DOWN to select the day, press MENU to move to the year. Use UP/DOWN to select the year, press MENU to confirm.

The format allows selection of 12-hour or 24-hour time. Time 2 can be set as a second time zone. Press BACK to return to the Settings menu, or press BACK twice to return to the time of day display.

Activity Tracking

To view your daily activity:

  1. Press the MENU button; the Activity icon will appear.
  2. Press MENU again to see daily Calories burned.
  3. Press MENU repeatedly to scroll through your Steps and Distance.
  4. Pressing the UP or DOWN buttons will display information from yesterday.
  5. Press MENU repeatedly to scroll through yesterday's Steps, Calories, and Distance.
  6. Press BACK twice to return to the time of day display.

Chrono (Stopwatch)

To use the Chronograph:

  1. Press the MENU button, then DOWN until the Chrono icon appears. Press MENU to enter Chrono mode.
  2. Press MENU to start the chronograph.
  3. While running, press DOWN to take a split (can be repeated for multiple splits).
  4. Press MENU to Pause. Use UP/DOWN to select Resume, Save, or Discard, then press MENU to confirm. Press BACK to return to time of day when finished.

To view saved workouts:

  1. From the time-of-day screen, press MENU, then DOWN until the Review icon appears. Press MENU to select and enter saved workouts. Use MENU to select a specific workout.

To set a target pace:

  1. From the time-of-day screen, press MENU, scroll DOWN to Setup, and press MENU.
  2. Scroll DOWN to TRG TIME and press MENU.
  3. Use MENU and UP/DOWN buttons to set your Target Pace, Range, and Target Distance. Press BACK when finished. The watch will indicate if you are ahead or behind pace during Chrono splits.

Interval Timers

To set up Interval Timers:

  1. Press the MENU button, then DOWN until the Interval icon appears. Press MENU to enter the Interval menu.
  2. Scroll DOWN to Setup and press MENU.
  3. Use UP/DOWN and MENU buttons to set up Workout 1 or Workout 2. You can choose a warmup or cooldown and set the desired time for each interval.

To set custom intervals:

  1. Press MENU while Workout 1 or Workout 2 is highlighted.
  2. Scroll DOWN to Intervals and press MENU.
  3. Press MENU to select the number of reps (1 to 99). Press BACK when finished.
  4. Scroll DOWN to "1 –" and press MENU to enter setting.
  5. Use UP or DOWN to turn the Interval on. Press MENU to continue setting the hours, minutes, and seconds for your interval. You can also select an Intensity level.
  6. Press BACK to return to Workout 1 or Workout 2. Press MENU to select a workout and MENU again to begin. Press MENU during a workout to pause. Use UP/DOWN to Resume, Save, or Discard using the MENU button to select.

Timers (Countdown)

The watch features 2 different countdown timers.

  1. From the time-of-day screen, press MENU, then DOWN until the Timers icon appears. Press MENU to select.
  2. Scroll DOWN to Setup and press MENU.
  3. Use MENU and UP/DOWN buttons to set the countdown timer up to 23:59:59. Press BACK when finished.

Alarms

The watch features 5 customizable alarms.

  1. From the time-of-day screen, press MENU, then DOWN until the Alarms icon appears.
  2. Choose Alarm 1 to 5 and press MENU to enter setting mode.
  3. Press DOWN to turn the alarm on or off.
  4. Use UP/DOWN buttons with MENU to set the hour and minute of the alarm, as well as the recurrence (Daily, Once, Specific Day of Week, Weekend, or Weekday). You can also select a pre-set Message for the alarm.

Setup Menu

From the time-of-day screen, press MENU, then DOWN until the Setup icon appears. Press MENU to enter Setup mode. Use UP/DOWN buttons and MENU to select and complete setup for the following:

Battery Replacement

When the display dims or no display appears, please replace the battery with a CR2032 or equivalent.
