Parts Included
The following parts are included with the monitor stand:
- A: Arm A (x2)
- B: Arm B (x2)
- C: Clamp (x1)
- D: Bracket (x2)
- E: Fixing Plate (x1)
- F: Slit (x1)
- G: Bolt A (x1)
- H: Hex Wrench (Small) (x1)
- Hex Wrench (Large) (x1)
- M-A (x4), M-B (x4), M-C (x4) - VESA mounting screws and washers
Installation Steps
Step 1: Assemble the Clamp Base
Attach the clamp to your desk. The clamp is suitable for desk thicknesses between 10mm and 45mm.
Desk Edge Mounting:
- Expand the clamp and place it onto the desk edge.
- Insert the slit (F) into the clamp.
- Tighten the clamp using the large hex wrench to secure it to the desk.
Grommet Mounting:
- For grommet mounting, expand the clamp and remove the lower part (C3) and bolt (C1) from the clamp. These parts are not used for grommet mounting.
- Drill a hole in the desk surface with a diameter between 10mm and 60mm.
- Place the clamp through the desk hole.
- Secure the clamp with the fixing plate (E) and insert the slit (F).
- Tighten the clamp using the large hex wrench. Ensure the desk thickness is between 10mm and 45mm.
Diagram Description: Visuals show how to attach the clamp to the edge of a desk or through a pre-drilled hole using a fixing plate.
Step 2: Attach Arm B to the Clamp
Connect Arm B to the assembled clamp. Ensure it is securely fastened.
Diagram Description: Shows Arm B being attached to the clamp mechanism.
Step 3: Attach Arm A to Arm B
Connect Arm A to Arm B. Use the small hex wrench (H) for this connection.
Diagram Description: Illustrates connecting Arm A to Arm B, likely with a bolt and wrench.
Step 4: Attach the Bracket (D) to the Monitor
Mount the bracket (D) onto the back of your monitor using the provided VESA screws (M-A, M-B, M-C) and washers. Ensure the screws are the correct length: too long can damage the monitor, too short may not secure it properly.
Important: Place a soft cloth or blanket under the monitor to prevent scratches or damage during this step.
Diagram Description: Shows the bracket being screwed onto the back of a monitor using different screw types. It highlights the importance of screw length.
Step 5: Attach the Monitor Bracket to Arm A
Connect the monitor bracket (already attached to the monitor) to Arm A. Secure the connection by closing the lock knob on top of Arm A. Turn the knob vertically to unlock and horizontally to lock.
Diagram Description: Depicts the monitor bracket sliding onto Arm A and being secured by a locking knob. Shows the unlock (vertical) and lock (horizontal) positions of the knob.
Step 6: Route Cables
Route your monitor cables through the integrated cable management clips on the arms. Gently slide the cable clips downwards to detach them, route the cables, and then slide them back into place.
Diagram Description: Shows cables being threaded through clips along the monitor arm. Instructions indicate sliding clips down to detach them.
Step 7: Adjust Arm Balance (Spring Tension)
With the monitor attached and the arm positioned horizontally, adjust the spring tension using the large hex wrench. This ensures the arm stays in place without drifting up or down.
- If the arm drifts down, turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise.
- If the arm drifts up, turn the adjustment screw clockwise.
Warning: Do not attempt to adjust the screw located on the underside of Monitor Arm A, as this can cause irreparable damage.
Diagram Description: Illustrates adjusting the spring tension with the large hex wrench. Shows the arm in a horizontal position and indicates the direction to turn the adjustment screw for up or down drift.
Step 8: Adjust Arm Stiffness and Movement Range
Use the small hex wrench (H) to adjust the stiffness of the arm's joints and the range of motion.
- Movement Range Limiter: Tighten the limiter screws located on the inside of the arm to restrict its movement to a 180° range. Loosen or remove these screws to allow for 360° rotation.
- Stiffness Adjustment: Adjust screws (indicated by '8' in diagrams) to control the resistance of the arm's movement (tilt and swivel).
Storage: Store the hex wrenches (large and small) in the provided slit (F) for safekeeping.
Diagram Description: Shows adjustments for tilt and swivel stiffness using the small hex wrench. Diagrams illustrate how to set the arm's rotation limit to 180° or 360°. An image shows the hex wrenches being stored in a designated slit.
