IKEA BRIMNES Headboard with Storage Compartment

Assembly Steps

The following steps detail the assembly process for the BRIMNES headboard with storage compartment. Please ensure you have all parts and tools before beginning.

  1. Attach the side panels to the base using the provided dowels (101356) and cam locks (119253).
  2. Insert dowels (101345) into the designated holes on the base and side panels.
  3. Secure the side panels to the base using cam screws (118137) and cam locks (119253).
  4. Attach the central support panels to the base using dowels (101356) and cam locks (119253).
  5. Insert dowels (101345) into the side panels and central support panels.
  6. Secure the side panels and central support panels with cam screws (118137) and cam locks (119253).
  7. Attach the top panel to the assembled structure using dowels (101356) and cam locks (119253).
  8. Secure the top panel with cam screws (118137) and cam locks (119253).
  9. Attach the storage compartment sides to the main structure using dowels (101356) and cam locks (119253).
  10. Secure the storage compartment sides with cam screws (118137) and cam locks (119253).
  11. Attach the storage compartment shelves using dowels (101356) and cam locks (119253).
  12. Secure the storage compartment shelves with cam screws (118137) and cam locks (119253).
  13. Attach the back panels of the storage compartments using screws (100349).
  14. Attach the final top panel to the headboard structure using dowels (101356) and cam locks (119253).
  15. Secure the final top panel with cam screws (118137) and cam locks (119253).
  16. Attach the decorative front panels to the storage compartments using dowels (101345) and cam locks (119253).
  17. Secure the decorative front panels with cam screws (118137) and cam locks (119253).
  18. Attach the final top decorative panel using dowels (101356) and cam locks (119253).
  19. Secure the final top decorative panel with cam screws (118137) and cam locks (119253).
  20. Wall Attachment: Secure the headboard to the wall using the provided wall attachment brackets (103693) and appropriate screws and wall plugs for your wall type.
