Service Overview
This document summarizes Mercury Broadband's 'You Choose' wireless broadband offer, which includes an optional landline service for residential customers. The offer is only available when bundled with a Mercury electricity service.
Wireless broadband connects your home via a 4G wireless connection. Mercury offers four plans: 120GB, 300GB Urban, 300GB Rural, and 1000GB. Availability is dependent on 4G coverage and capacity in your area. You can check availability on the Mercury website or by calling 0800 789 505.

Joining Bonuses
The 'You Choose' offer includes joining bonuses, determined by the broadband plan chosen at sign-up. These bonuses are subject to availability and may have delivery delays. Bonuses are ordered 5 working days from the confirmation letter/email or when both broadband and electricity services are connected.

Additional Information
Routers
Futura Modem: $0++ (A $14.95 postage and handling charge applies).
Wireless broadband services require a Mercury-supplied wireless broadband router.
Additional Data Charges
Additional data packs cost $10 for 10GB and can be applied automatically or manually. An automatic 10GB pack is applied once the monthly allowance is consumed (if no manual packs were added). Up to four manual data packs can be purchased per month. Data packs are valid for 30 days from purchase. Customers will receive email/text notifications at 80% and 100% data usage.
Set-up Charges
A free standard connection is provided. A postage and handling charge for the router applies.
Other Charges
Additional charges may apply for non-standard installations or in-home technician work. Refer to Mercury's phone and internet terms for details. Electricity and gas charges also apply.
Broadband Performance
Actual speeds are influenced by device capabilities, number of connected devices, operating system, web-browser, and proximity to the router. For wireless broadband, factors like distance to the cell tower and overall network usage can impact speeds. Mercury's supplied router is designed to provide estimated peak time average speeds. Minimum Contract Period
This electricity and broadband bundle offer has a 2-year term.
Early Termination Fee
Early termination fees apply if services are terminated or switched within the term. Fees vary based on the joining bonus and reduce monthly. An early termination fee is payable only once.

Notice Period (Termination)
After the term ends, services can be cancelled with at least 5 working days' notice. Customers are responsible for charges until the disconnection date.
Other Requirements
The 'You Choose' offer cannot be combined with other offers.
Traffic Management
Mercury may manage traffic at peak times to ensure optimal customer experience, potentially by limiting download/upload speeds. Changes impacting customers will be communicated.
Speed Restrictions
For non-capped plans, speeds may reduce to 5Mbps after the monthly data allowance is consumed, until the plan renewal date. Actual speeds may be lower than 5Mbps due to various factors affecting wireless broadband performance.
Service Restrictions
A service restriction policy may affect broadband performance. Refer to clause 5.5 of the phone and internet terms.
Fair Use Policy
No fair use policy applies.
Effects on Other Services
The wireless broadband service requires mains electricity. Services like landlines, medical alarms, and security alarms may stop working during power outages if no battery backup is present. Customers are advised to check with their service providers and ensure alternative communication methods (like a charged mobile) are available for emergencies.
