Logitech M185 Wireless Mouse Setup

Getting Started

Follow these simple steps to set up your Logitech M185 wireless mouse.

Step 1: Power On and Prepare the Mouse

Locate the power switch on the bottom of the mouse. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position. Ensure the battery compartment is properly closed.

Step 2: Insert the USB Receiver

Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the mouse. Remove the USB receiver stored inside. Close the battery compartment cover.

Step 3: Connect to Your Computer

For Laptops: Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your laptop. The mouse will automatically connect.

For Desktops: Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your desktop computer. The mouse will automatically connect.
