Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up your Logitech Wireless Mouse M185.
Step 1: Connect the Receiver
Plug the USB Nano-receiver into a USB port on your computer. The mouse should now be connected.
Step 2: Insert Batteries
Open the battery door on the underside of the mouse. Insert one AA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) ends are correctly aligned. Close the battery door.
Step 3: Power On
Slide the On/Off switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'On' position. The mouse is now ready to use.

Troubleshooting: Mouse is not working
- Check Power: Is the mouse powered on?
- Check Receiver Connection: Is the Nano receiver securely plugged into a USB port? Try a different USB port.
- USB Hubs: If the Nano receiver is plugged into a USB hub, try plugging it directly into a USB port on your computer.
- Battery Orientation: Check the orientation of the battery inside the mouse.
- Surface and Obstructions: Try a different surface. Remove any metallic objects or other potential sources of interference between the mouse and the Nano receiver.
- Receiver Proximity: Try moving the Nano receiver to a USB port closer to the mouse. For tower PCs, consider using a USB extender available at www.logitech.com/usbextender.
- Windows Reconnection: For Windows® operating systems, reconnect the mouse with the Nano receiver by launching the Connect utility from www.logitech.com/connect_utility.
