Your safety is of the utmost importance. Please read this booklet before installing or using the appliance. Contact the Technical Department if unsure about any information.

Caution
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is intended for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY and not for commercial or industrial use. It is intended for the storage of wine.
Warning
- Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
- Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Do not use electrical appliances inside storage compartments unless recommended by the manufacturer.
- Ensure the appliance is connected to power supply according to the rating label.
- Use an independent grounded socket with 10A or higher. Do not connect to a transformer or socket with multiple outlets.
- Ensure the socket is grounded properly and do not modify the power cord & plug.
- Connect the power plug firmly to the socket.
- The plug should be within reach for easy disconnection.
- Do not store or burn gasoline or other flammables near the appliance.
- Do not store flammables, explosives, acid & alkaline liquids etc. in the compartment.
- Do not operate other appliances in the compartment.
Child Safety
- Do not allow children to play inside the appliance or hang on the door.
- Do not allow children to reach into the compressor compartment or touch metal components at the rear.
Keep away from water
- Do not spray water on the appliance or wash it with water to avoid electric shock.
Be careful of freezing
- Do not touch the interior surface with wet hands during operation.
Modification on the appliance not allowed
- Do not reconstruct the appliance yourself.
Unplug the appliance under certain conditions
- Unplug before cleaning & maintenance.
- Unplug when power is cut.
Disposal of the appliance
- Dispose of the appliance according to local regulations for its flammable refrigerant and blowing gas.
- Remove doors before scrapping to prevent children being trapped.
- Send the appliance to the designated disposal location.
Do not damage the power cord
- Do not disconnect by pulling the power cord; pull the plug instead.
- Do not place the appliance above the power cord or step on it.
- Put the power cord in a safe place when moving the appliance.
When the power cord is damaged
- Do not use a damaged power cord. Get it replaced by a service agent or qualified electrician.
- If needed, extend the power cord with a cord of 0.75mm² or bigger by a qualified electrician.
Installation
Position
- Do not lean the appliance over 45° when moving it.
- Place the appliance on a flat, firm & dry floor or a noncombustible pad. Do not use the package foam pad.
- Do not place the appliance in a wet or frozen place.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors in case of sunlight or rain.
The appliance is designed to be built under the counter or stand alone.
Demonstration for building under the counter:
A diagram shows the required dimensions for built-in installation, indicating minimum heights and widths.
Wine bottles can be stored once the appliance has been operating for about 1 hour and the interior is cool.
Description of the appliance
The wine cooler consists of the following parts:

Note: Shelves, door frame, handle, and other accessories may differ based on model and configuration. Photos are for reference only.
Installing the handle and reversing the door of wine cooler
- Install handle: Attach the handle to the door frame using the provided screws.
- Reversing the door: The wine cooler is delivered with the door opening from left to right. To reverse the opening direction:
- Open the door to 90 degrees.
- Unscrew the two screws from the right lower hinge.
- Carefully remove the door from the lower hinge and then from the top hinge. Remove the lower hinge plate.
- Unscrew the top right hinge and right lower hinge from the cabinet.
- Install the top left hinge and left lower hinge to the left side of the cabinet.
- Turn the door 180 degrees upside down. Insert the lower hinge plate into the bottom door axis hole. Fit the top door axis hole to the top left hinge and place the lower hinge plate onto the left lower hinge.
- Screw the left lower hinge with the plate. Door reversing is finished.
Operation
Start operation
- Cleaning: Clean the interior and check the drainage pipe. Refer to "Maintenance and cleaning" for details.
- Positioning: Ensure the appliance is level on a firm & dry floor for at least 30 minutes before powering on.
- Power on: The appliance will start operation and cool down within 1 hour. Check power connection if not.
Control panel
The control panel features several buttons: ON/OFF, Light, Zone switch, UP, Down, and Child Lock.
- ON/OFF: Press and hold for 3 seconds to power down to stand-by mode. Press again for 3 seconds to return to normal working.
- Light: Press to turn the interior LED lights on or off. Invalid in stand-by mode.
- Zone switch: Press to switch between upper and lower zones for temperature setting. The LED display in the chosen zone will flash. Use UP/Down keys to set temperature. Press again to switch zones.
- UP: Press to increase the set temperature by 1°C. The display flashes during adjustment and saves after 5 seconds of no input.
- Down: Press to decrease the set temperature by 1°C. The display flashes during adjustment and saves after 5 seconds of no input.
- Child Lock (Combination key): Press both keys simultaneously for 3 seconds to lock. Press both keys simultaneously for 3 seconds to unlock.
Fahrenheit/Celsius display interchange
Press and hold the key for 2 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius display.
Attention
- Temperature range: 5-22°C for both zones. The lower zone temperature must be equal to or higher than the upper zone.
- Alarm sound: Press any key to cancel alarm sound during system malfunction.
- Temperature sensor failure: Error codes E1-E6 indicate sensor failures (open circuit or short circuit).
- Climate Class: The appliance is intended for use within specific ambient temperature ranges: Extended temperate (10-32°C), Temperate (16-32°C), Subtropical (16-38°C).
Wine storage
The appliance has shelves designed for wine storage. Full shelves can hold up to 46 bottles (standard Bordeaux, 750ml).
Loading capacity: Varies by bottle arrangement and size. It is recommended to place 1 or 2 layers of bottles per shelf. More than 2 layers are not recommended. Shelves can be pulled out for easier storage. Open the door fully before pulling out shelves.
If the wine cooler is not used for a long time, power it off, clean it, and leave the door open for ventilation.

Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
---|---|
Appliance makes noise | Adjust front foot for leveling. Keep space from walls. |
Liquid flowing sound | Normal due to refrigerant. Keep space from walls. |
Appliance does not start | Ensure proper power connection and switch is on. Compressor restarts after 5 minutes following a power cut. |
Compressor runs continuously | Call after-sales service if no cooling. |
Door does not seal tightly | Door seal may be stiff or distorted. Heat the seal with a hot-wind blower or hot towel, then close the door. |
Appliance does not cool sufficiently | Adjust temperature setting. Keep away from sunlight or heat. Do not open the door frequently. |
Unpleasant smells inside cabinet | A slight plastic smell is normal for new appliances and will disappear. Clean and ventilate the compartment. |
Condensate on the glass door | Do not open the door frequently. Do not set temperature too low. High ambient temperature and humidity can cause condensation. |
Light is not working | Check power supply. Contact retailer's after-sales service if the light is broken. |
Maintenance and cleaning
Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance before cleaning.
- Clean with a soft cloth or sponge and water.
- Do not use organic solvents, alkaline detergent, boiling water, washing powder, or acid liquid.
- Do not flush the compartment.
The following items will damage the surface of the wine cooler:
? Alkaline detergent. ? Organic solvents. ? Brushes. ? Boiling water.
Power cut
To protect wines during a power cut, avoid opening the door. For long power cuts, take necessary measures.
Out of service for long time
Remove all bottles, unplug, clean the appliance thoroughly inside and out, and store properly.
Wait at least five minutes before re-starting after disconnection or power cut.
Moving the appliance
- Cut off power supply and unplug the appliance.
- Remove all bottles.
- Do not lean the appliance over 45° when moving.

Do not dismantle the appliance in a way not shown in the manual. At the end of its life, the appliance should not be disposed of with household waste. Check with your Local Authority for recycling advice.

12 Month Warranty
Covers Parts & Labour for 12 months from the Date of Purchase. Repairs are free of charge if the appliance has been used and maintained according to the terms and conditions. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.
Two-year Warranty
Register your new appliance with Shomar Ltd to avail of the second year free warranty. Registration also allows Shomar Ltd to contact you if modifications are required. Registration serves as proof of purchase in case of insurance loss (theft, fire, flood).

Terms and Conditions
- Warranty covers use in a normal domestic environment only. Institutional or commercial use is not covered. For commercial warranty, contact service@shomar.ie.
- Not covered: Complaints due to incorrect voltage, failure of water supply, failure of electricity supply, failure to operate according to the manual.
- Damage to appliance or components (fuses, bulbs, glass, knobs, plastics), blockages of filters, drainage systems, etc. are not covered.

- Gas appliances must be fitted by a Registered Gas Installer (see WWW.RGI.IE).

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Contact your retailer for questions about these rights.
The manufacturer is not liable for financial loss incurred due to product failure, including food loss, time taken from work, damaged clothing, laundry costs, meals, or general compensation for inconvenience.
Does PowerPoint offer replacements?
This is a repair-only warranty. In rare cases, the manufacturer may replace the product at its discretion. If the appliance cannot be repaired, it will be replaced free of charge. Costs for disconnecting and installing replacement products are not covered unless agreed in writing. The original warranty applies to the replacement product.
