Usage and Maintenance
Usage of Fridge Compartment
The fridge compartment temperature is typically 2-8°C, suitable for vegetables, fruits, and beverages. The temperature is lowest near the crisper and higher at the top. Place food according to temperature requirements.
Shelves can be adjusted by height. Remove the shelf horizontally and insert it into the desired groove.
For first-time use, the compressor will run continuously for several hours until the set temperature is reached and it cycles automatically.
Best Method for Food Storage
- Different temperatures suit different foods. Store vegetables and fruits in the crisper, doufu and cakes on the crisper lid, and cans/beverages on the bottle rack.
- Cover food with wrap or a lidded container to prevent odor transfer and drying.
- Clean vegetables, fruits, and bottled food before storing.
- Ensure adequate space between food items for proper air circulation.
- Cool hot food before refrigerating to prevent raising the compartment temperature and increasing energy consumption.
- Transferring food from the freezer to the fridge for thawing saves energy. However, do not place freezing food near hot food, as it may freeze the hot food.
Tips for Storing Vegetables and Fruit
- Store vegetables against their growth direction to prolong freshness.
- Tropical fruits (banana, pineapple, melon) are not suitable for refrigeration as low temperatures accelerate ripening.
- Remove the leaves from radish and fruit vegetables; storing them with leaves can cause nutrient absorption by the leaves.
Usage of Freezer Compartment
The freezer compartment temperature is adjustable between -15°C and -24°C, suitable for long-term storage of fish and meat. Do not overload the freezer with fresh food at once.
Avoid placing bottles of liquid in the freezer, as they may break when frozen. Do not touch frozen food with wet hands, as it may cause injury.
Melting Frozen Food
Methods for thawing food include room temperature, cool water, fridge compartment, electric cooker, or microwave oven. Once thawed, food should not be refrozen; consume it promptly.

- FAST icon: Fast cooling function. Activates rapid cooling and exits automatically after a period.
Control Button Operation
Short presses of the control button cycle through temperature settings: 8°C → 6°C → 4°C → 2°C → 8°C.
Fast Cooling Function
When the 'FAST' icon is shown, the refrigerator automatically exits after running for a period. For quick cooling, the refrigerator compartment temperature is set to 2°C and exits after 90 minutes. It will revert to the previous setting or 'quick freezing'/'energy saving' mode.
Instructions for Use of Water Dispenser
To use the water dispenser: Open the fridge door, lift the water inlet cover above the water tank, pour drinking water (not hot water), close the door, and let the refrigerator cool the water. Press the push rod with a cup to dispense water. The water stops automatically when the cup is removed. The push rod has a self-locking mechanism (toggle left to open, right to close).
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Maintenance of Refrigerator
Cleaning
Clean the refrigerator thoroughly every three to five weeks to prevent odors. Use a mild detergent and wipe dry with a cloth. If the liner is stained by oil or soup, clean it immediately to prevent damage.
Periodical maintenance prolongs the refrigerator's life. Always unplug the power cord before maintenance. Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water. For stubborn dirt, use a mild detergent, then wipe dry. Clean the door gasket carefully to prevent cold air leaks.
Avoid using abrasive powder, washing soda, benzene, petrol, acid, alcohol, or hot water, as these can damage the finish and plastic parts.
Safety Inspection After Maintenance
- Check the power plug and wire for damage.
- Ensure the power plug is not abnormally hot.
- Verify the power plug is fully inserted into the wall socket.
- For further assistance, contact the company's local customer service department.

Food Frozen in the Fridge Compartment
- Check if the temperature controller is suitably adjusted.
- Ensure watery or easily frozen foods are not placed too deep in the refrigerator.
Noisy Operation
Noisy of Compressor When Start-Up
It is normal for the compressor to be noisy when starting up. The noise will decrease after continuous operation.
Fan Noise
The fan speeds up automatically when environmental temperature is high or rapid cooling is needed, or when a large amount of food is added. This is normal; the noise will decrease with continuous operation.
Non-Failure Phenomenon
- Water flowing sound: This is the sound of refrigerant flowing and is normal.
- Freezer compartment frame and side boards turn hot: The anti-concreting-dew tubes and condenser tubes fitted in these areas will become hot during operation.
- Compressor becomes very hot: The compressor temperature can reach up to 90°C during operation.
- Condensing dew on the outside: In very humid seasons, condensation may appear on the exterior. Wipe it dry; it is normal.
