Installation Instructions
- Disassemble the bumper, buffer beam, and heat shield. Permanently remove the towing ring located in the middle of the vehicle.
- Insert mounting slats (g) and (h) into the rear chassis beams through the provided openings in the bodywork. Position the slats so that points (A) align with the chassis drillings. Reassemble the buffer beam.
- Place mounting pieces (i) against the underside of the chassis, aligning points (A) with the provided holes. Insert bolts and washers, but do not tighten them yet.
- Position the tow bar between mounting pieces (i), ensuring points (B) and (B') of the tow bar align with the mounting pieces. Insert bolts, washers, and nuts, and tighten everything firmly.
- Make an incision in the underside of the bumper according to the provided sketch and reinstall the bumper. Also, make an incision in the heat shield (approx. 105x20 mm) as per the enclosed picture. Reinstall the heat shield with the provided bolts and the filling piece (this tube attaches to the furthest fixing point, not the tow bar).
- Assemble the T36 hitch head and tighten it securely.
