Assembly and Wiring Instructions
Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Thread mounting screws (A) into the corresponding holes of the mounting bar (B).
- Position the mounting bar (B) flush against the ceiling at the desired location. Use the outer holes of the mounting bar as a guide to mark pilot hole locations.
- Insert two plastic anchors (D) into the pilot holes (for drywall ceilings).
- Align the outer mounting bar holes with the plastic anchors (D) (if applicable). Secure the mounting bar (B) using wood screws (E).
- To adjust the fixture's length, loosen the set screw (C) on the wire nut (F). Carefully insert or pull the cord (G) into or from the canopy (H). Secure the set screw (C) at the desired wire location.
- Make electrical connections by loosening the terminal screws on the terminal block (M) and inserting the live, neutral, and ground terminals.
- Tighten the terminal screws, ensuring no wires are loose or stray.
- Raise the canopy (H) to the ceiling, allowing the mounting screw (A) to pass through the openings in the canopy (H). Secure the canopy in place with cap nuts (T).
- Install the shade (I) and support ring onto the socket. Secure with screws or a retaining ring as applicable.
- Install the lamp (not supplied). Do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.
