Finder 72.A1 Float Level Regulator
SWITCH TO THE FUTURE
Product Overview
The Finder 72.A1 is a float level regulator designed for controlling liquid levels in tanks and sumps. It is suitable for various applications, including emptying and filling operations.
Model Variants:
- 72.A1.1.000.xx01 = H05 RN-F cable
- 72.A1.1.000.xx02 = WRAS certified
Manufactured with 100% Made in Italy quality.
Certification: TÜV Rheinland Certified.
Installation and Assembly
The device consists of a float mechanism connected to a cable. The assembly involves connecting the cable to the float body and ensuring a minimum cable length of 20 cm from the float to the connection point.
Assembly Steps:
- Step A1: Uncoil the float device and its cable.
- Step A2: Securely attach the cable to the float body.
- Step A3: Ensure a minimum of 20 cm of cable length is maintained between the float and the connection point.
- Step B: Connect the cable to the electrical system. This typically involves attaching the cable conductors to terminals.
- Steps B1, B2, B3: Illustrate the process of connecting the cable wires, possibly involving a [click] sound upon secure connection.
Important Safety Warnings
WARNING: Do not tamper with the float switch. Failure to comply with the following points will automatically void the product warranty.
- Before any operation, disconnect the power supply from the main power source.
- Ensure the maximum load power does not exceed the float switch's electrical ratings.
- If the cable is damaged by the user or installer, the float switch must be replaced.
- Do not make any joints on the float switch cable, as immersion of such joints can cause short circuits or electrical shocks.
- The upstream circuit must protect the electric wires from overcurrent. Lack of protection will void the warranty if the float breaks.

Electrical Connections and Operation Modes
The float switch operates based on its position in the liquid, controlling circuits for emptying or filling tanks.
Emptying Mode (Fig. 2)
This mode is used to drain a tank. It is activated by connecting the black and brown wires.
- When the float is in the lower position (submerged), the circuit opens, stopping the pump.
- When the float rises to the upper position (above the liquid), the circuit closes, starting the pump to drain the tank.
- Note: The blue wire must be insulated.
Diagram Description (Fig. 2): Shows a circuit with a 'LOAD' (e.g., pump), a switch activated by the float, and the connections for black and brown wires. The float is depicted in both low and high positions, illustrating the circuit state. The activation angle is 30°.
Filling Mode (Fig. 3)
This mode is used to fill a tank. It is activated by connecting the brown and blue wires.
- When the float is in the upper position (above the liquid), the circuit opens, stopping the filling process.
- When the float lowers to the lower position (submerged), the circuit closes, starting the filling process.
- Note: The black wire must be insulated.
