Useful Functions

GL840 Expands to Two Models for Application-Specific Use

Expandable Up to 200 Channels

Standard configuration includes 20 analog input channels, expandable to 200 channels by adding optional 20-channel extension terminal base units (B-566) and input terminal units (B-564 or B-565). The expansion process involves connecting these units in a daisy-chain configuration.

Configuration GL840 Unit Connection Cable (B-567) Terminal Base (B-566) Input Terminal (B-564/565)
20 channels1 setN/AN/AN/A
40 channels1 set1 pc2 sets1 set
100 channels1 set1 pc5 sets4 sets
200 channels1 set1 pc10 sets9 sets

* Input terminal blocks can be mixed, but overall voltage and accuracy are limited by the B-564 rating.

Three Types of Input Systems Enable Measurement of Various Signals

The midi LOGGER supports basic analog signals, logic/pulse signals, and digital sensors for comprehensive measurement capabilities.

Support Digital Sensors

Digital sensors and input terminal/adapters for the GL100 can connect directly to the GL840. Supported sensors include:

Longer Cables for Input Terminals: Input terminals can be connected directly or via extension cables (up to 20m) for flexible placement.

Dual Port Adapter: The GS-DPA allows simultaneous connection of up to two sensor modules (e.g., Temp/Humidity & Illuminance/UV).

High Performance Software for PC (GL100_240_840-APS)

This software supports the GL840, GL240, and GL100 series, allowing control of up to 10 units and 1000 channels simultaneously. Key features include:
