Graphtec Wireless LAN Setup

Setting up your Wireless LAN is easy and accomplished in a few simple steps for the Graphtec CE8000 Series Cutter.

On-Screen Instructions

  1. 1 Select Language

    Description of the language selection screen: A screen prompting the user to select a language from a list including English, Japanese (日本語), German (Deutsch), French (Francais), Italian (Italiano), Spanish (Espanol), Portuguese (Portugues), Russian (РУССКИЙ), Chinese (中文), and Korean (한글).

  2. 2 Select Unit of Measure

    Description of the unit of measure selection screen: A screen allowing the user to choose between 'METRIC' and 'INCH' for length units.

  3. 3 Confirm Ready for Setup

    Description of the confirmation screen: A prompt asking 'WIRELESS LAN AVAILABLE. WANT TO SET IT UP NOW?' with 'YES' and 'NO' options.

  4. 4 Select Wireless Network

    Description of the network selection screen: A screen displaying available wireless networks, such as 'AccessPoint1', 'AccessPoint2', and 'AccessPoint3'. It indicates the current view is 'ACCESS POINT 1/3'.

  5. 5 Input Password

    Description of the password input screen: A screen for entering the password for the selected wireless network ('AccessPoint1'), featuring a virtual keyboard layout with alphanumeric keys and special characters. The password field is masked with asterisks (******).

  6. 6 Connect to Wireless Network

    Description of the connection confirmation screen: After entering the password, a prompt appears asking 'DO YOU WANT TO CONNECT TO THIS AP?' for 'AccessPoint1', with 'YES' and 'NO' options.

  7. 7 Assign Dynamic IP Address

    Description of the IP address assignment screen: The screen displays network configuration details, including 'IP ADDRESS: 192.168. 0. 2', 'SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.0', and 'GATEWAY: 192.168. 0.254', with 'DHCP: OFF' indicated. Buttons for 'OK', 'MAC ADDR.', and 'CANCEL' are visible.

  8. 8 Switch to DHCP mode

    Description of the DHCP mode switch screen: The screen shows network configuration with 'DHCP: ON'. Instructions guide the user to 'Turn DHCP (ON) and then click OK'. A critical note states: 'THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT: A Dynamic IP address protocol is set and your cutter will automatically reinitialize.'

  9. 9 Confirmation of Connection

    Description of the connection confirmation: After restarting, the cutter's display will show a 'WIRELESS ICON' at the top right, indicating successful Wireless LAN setup and readiness for discovery on the local network.
