Quick Start with ODYSSEY - X86J4105

Before you Start

Ensure you have the following peripherals:

  1. An external monitor
  2. A keyboard and a mouse
  3. An HDMI Cable

A visual diagram shows a monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected via HDMI.

Attaching External Storage

If you have the 64GB eMMC version, you can skip this step. Otherwise, you can add storage via four methods:

  1. Through M.2 PCIE Connector
  2. Through M.2 SATA connector
  3. Through SATA Connector
  4. Through Micro SD Card Slot

A diagram illustrates the locations for M.2 PCIE SSD, M.2 SATA SSD, HDD (SATA), and Micro-SD card connections on the ODYSSEY board.

Note: M.2 SATA, M.2 PCIE, and SATA connectors support OS installation. The Micro SD Card slot is for external storage only.

Connecting Antennas

Insert the two provided antennas into the designated sockets on the ODYSSEY - X86J4105.

A diagram shows two antennas being connected to the board.

Note: One antenna is for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while the second is for enhanced 5G connectivity.

Connecting to a Display

There are two methods to connect your ODYSSEY - X86J4105 to an external display:

Method 1

Connect via the HDMI port using an HDMI cable.
