Refer to the User's Information Manual for complete warranty details.
Features
- Operating Efficiency: All PG3 ULN units provide a minimum AFUE of 81.0% in heating and a 13.4 SEER2 rating for cooling. They meet California's 14 ng/J NOx emission level requirement.
- On-site Flexibility: Compact cabinet design in two footprints allows for flexible placement on roof curbs, equipment pads, or concrete slabs. Field-convertible duct connections from side to down shot offer enhanced installer flexibility.
- Lower Installation Cost: Reduced installation time and costs due to easy power and control wiring connections. Small base dimensions require less space. Units are pre-wired, charged with R-454B, and factory tested.
- Utility Connections Made Easy: Gas and electric utility access is provided through the bottom or side of the unit. A field-supplied electrical disconnect switch is required.
- Convertible Airflow Design: Bottom duct openings are covered from the factory, allowing for side supply and return. Panels can be removed for bottom supply and return applications without panel cutting.
- Condensate Pan: Corrosion-resistant, watertight pan below the indoor coil to prevent stagnant condensate, conforming to ASHRAE 62-19 standards.
- Condensate Drain: A 3/4 in. NPT female connection is rigidly mounted for a secure seal.
- Durable Finish: G90 galvanized steel cabinet with powder paint coating for appearance and superior corrosion resistance (1,000 hr salt spray tested).
- Full Perimeter Base Rails: Removable base rails provide a solid foundation, forklift access, and rigging points. They also keep the unit off equipment pads to deter corrosion.
- Attractive Appearance: Single-piece top cover with top-discharge outdoor fan and rounded corners with water drip edges.
- Top Discharge: Outdoor fan blows warm air upwards and away from the structure and landscaping.
- Outdoor Coil Grille: Stamped slotted design provides impact protection.
- Low Operating Sound Level: Upward airflow and sound-attenuating design features minimize noise disruption.
- Fan System: Standard ECM indoor blower motor operates over a wide range of conditions, with field-adjustable speeds for comfort.
- Simple Control Circuit: Low-voltage gas heat printed circuit board with diagnostic indicator light. Units over 1.776 kg (3.915 lb) refrigerant have a factory-installed refrigerant detection system (RDS). Non-RDS models use color-coded wire connections. MATE-N-LOK plug connectors are used. The electrical control box is separate for easy access. All internal wiring is color-coded and numbered.
- Protected Compressor: Internally protected against high pressure and temperature via a relief valve and temperature sensor. Features an automatic reset high-pressure switch.
- Exclusive Coil Design: Enhanced aluminum microchannel tubes and aluminum louvered fins for outdoor coils; all-aluminum indoor coils for efficient heat transfer and durability.
- Gas Heat Exchanger: High-grade stainless steel for long life.
- Post-Purge Induced Draft Combustion: Exhausts combustion products to prolong heat exchanger life.
- Spark to Burner Ignition: Eliminates pilot assembly for consistent ignition and fewer lockouts.
- Premix Burner: Constructed of high-grade stainless steel for natural gas applications, requiring no field adjustment.
- Low Maintenance: Permanently lubricated motor bearings require no annual maintenance. Slide-out blower and indoor coil assemblies for easy cleaning.
- Easy Service Access: Individual access panels provide access to all major components.

Notes:
- Pressure drop through the economizer is greater for 100% outdoor air. If return air duct resistance is less than 0.25 IWG, CFM may be reduced during full economizer operation.
- Filter pressure drop is based on standard filter media tested at velocities not exceeding 300 ft/min.
