Function Button Introduction
The AGPTEK Wireless In-Car Speakerphone is designed for convenient hands-free communication and audio playback in your vehicle. The device features a speaker grille on the left side. The front panel includes several control elements:
- Multi-function Button: Typically used for power, pairing, and call management.
- Answer/Reject Button: Used for answering or rejecting incoming calls.
- TF Card Slot: For inserting a microSD card to play audio files.
- Charging Port: For connecting the charging cable.
- Switch: Likely a power switch or mode selector.
- Mute Button: Located below the speaker grille, used to mute audio.
- Volume Knob: A rotary knob to adjust volume levels (Volume-, Volume+).
Operation
1. Charging
Please ensure the device is fully charged before its first use. This typically takes approximately 2 hours. Important tips for charging:
- If the device has not been used for an extended period or the battery is depleted, there might be a slight delay before the charging indicator light becomes active.
- During the charging process, the LED indicator will display a solid red light. The LED will turn off once the device is fully charged.
2. ON/OFF
To turn the speakerphone on, press the power button. The device will automatically connect to the last paired mobile phone.
3. Auto ON/OFF
The car speakerphone is equipped with an auto ON/OFF feature:
- It will automatically turn off after being disconnected from the mobile phone for 10 minutes.
- When you enter your car, the speakerphone can automatically turn on and connect to your paired mobile phone. This function is activated by its built-in motion sensor, triggered by actions like tapping the device or opening/closing the car door.
Bluetooth Pairing
4. Pair with Phone 1
This device supports simultaneous connection with up to two mobile phones via Bluetooth. If you are pairing your first mobile phone, follow these steps:
- Ensure the speakerphone and your mobile phone are within 1 meter of each other.
- After powering on the speakerphone, you will hear a voice prompt indicating it has entered pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone, activate the Bluetooth function and search for available Bluetooth devices.
- Select the pairing name "Bluetooth in-car speakerphone" from the list on your mobile phone and initiate the pairing process. Some mobile phones may require you to enter a pairing password, typically "0000". An audible tone will confirm successful pairing.
Note: If the pairing process is not completed successfully within 2 minutes, please turn the device off and repeat the pairing method.
5. Pair with Phone 2
To pair a second phone:
- Turn off Bluetooth on Phone 1 to disconnect it from the speakerphone.
- Turn the speakerphone device off and then turn it back on.
- Repeat all the steps outlined in Section 4 ("Pair with Phone 1") to pair the second phone.
Instructions after Connecting
6.1 Answer/Reject Call
- When an incoming call is received, press the [answer/hang-up button] to answer the call.
- To hang up an ongoing call, short press the [answer/hang-up button].
6.2 Reject Call
When there is an incoming call, you can double-click the [answer/hang-up button] to reject the call.
6.3 Redial Last Dialed Phone Number
Double-click the [answer/hang-up button] to redial the last dialed phone number.
6.4 Switch to Answer Privately
During an active call, press and hold the [answer/hang-up button] for 3 seconds to switch the call audio to your mobile phone for private conversation.
6.5 Mute
When playing music or during a call, press the "Mute button" to turn off the audio output.
6.6 Volume Control
Rotate the knob on the speaker to decrease or increase the volume.
7. Music Playback
After connecting your Bluetooth-enabled devices, you can play music through the wireless in-car speakerphone. The device also supports playing MP3/WMA audio files stored on a TF card. If a TF card is inserted, audio files from the TF card will be played first.
During music playback:
- Short press the "M button" to play the next song.
- Double-click the "M button" to play the previous song.
- Long press the "M button" to switch between audio sources (TF card and Bluetooth).
- Short press the [answer/hang-up button] to pause or resume music playback.
Note: While music is playing, the device will automatically switch to hands-free calling mode when a call comes in. Once the call ends, it will automatically return to music playback mode.
8. Activate Siri and Google Assistant
After connecting the device to your mobile phone, press and hold the [answer/hang-up button] for 3 seconds. You will hear a prompt confirming the successful activation of Siri or Google Assistant. Please ensure your mobile phone supports these voice assistant functions.
9. Self-protection with Low Power
When the battery power is critically low, the device may not function correctly and might repeatedly turn on and off. In such cases, please charge the device promptly to ensure it can operate properly.
