Your guide to wirelessly connecting headphones to any audio source.

Pairing AirFly Duo with AirPods

Step 1: Prepare AirPods

Place your AirPods inside the Charging Case. With the lid open, press and hold the button on the back of the Charging Case until the light flashes white. This indicates the AirPods are in pairing mode.

Step 2: Initiate AirFly Duo Pairing

Turn off Bluetooth on any devices previously connected to your AirPods. Turn on the AirFly Duo by sliding the ON/OFF switch up. Wait for the white and amber flashing lights on the AirFly Duo, indicating it's ready to pair with your AirPods. If the lights do not flash, press and hold Button 1 (?) on the AirFly Duo for four seconds to enter pairing mode.

Step 3: Confirmation and Reconnection

Once successfully paired, the light on your AirPods Charging Case will turn green, and the light on the AirFly Duo will turn solid white and then turn off after 10 seconds. To pair a second set of AirPods, repeat this process using Button 2 (refer to page 10 for details).

Step 4: Connect to Audio Source

Plug the AirFly Duo into any device with a standard headphone jack (e.g., airplane entertainment systems, older smartphones, laptops) to listen to audio wirelessly.

Pairing AirFly Duo with Wireless Headphones

Step 1: Prepare Headphones

Put your wireless headphones into Bluetooth Pairing Mode. Refer to your headphones' owner's manual for specific instructions.

Step 2: Initiate AirFly Duo Pairing

Turn off Bluetooth on any devices previously connected to your headphones. Turn on the AirFly Duo by sliding the ON/OFF switch up. Wait for the white and amber flashing lights, indicating it's ready to pair with your headphones. If the lights do not flash, press and hold Button 1 (?) on the AirFly Duo for four seconds to enter pairing mode.

Pairing AirFly Duo with a Second Set of Wireless Headphones

Step 1: Prepare Second Headphones

Put the second set of headphones into Bluetooth Pairing Mode. Refer to your headphones' owner's manual for specific instructions.

Step 2: Initiate AirFly Duo Pairing

Turn on the AirFly Duo by sliding the ON/OFF switch up. Press and hold Button 2 on the AirFly Duo for four seconds until the light flashes white and amber, indicating it is in pairing mode for a second device.

Turning AirFly Duo On & Off

Use the ON/OFF switch located on the side of the AirFly Duo. Slide the switch up to turn the device on, and slide it down to turn it off. The AirFly Duo will automatically reconnect to the last paired headphones when turned back on.

Reconnecting Headphones to Your Smartphone/Tablet

Once paired, the AirFly Duo remembers your AirPods or headphones and will switch to them when turned on. To switch back to using your headphones directly with your smartphone or tablet, first turn the AirFly Duo off. On your device, open Bluetooth Settings and select your headphones from the list. The status will change from 'Not Connected' to 'Connected' once successfully paired.

Charging AirFly Duo

To recharge, connect the included USB-C to USB-A Charging Cable to the AirFly Duo and then to a powered USB port. The AirFly Duo is fully charged within 2 hours. The internal battery provides over 22 hours of playback. It is recommended to fully charge the device before its first use. If the AirFly Duo is low on power, the amber light will flash 3 times as an alert. While charging, the amber light will illuminate and stay on. Once fully charged, the amber light will turn off.

Tips & Tricks

  1. If only one AirPod is playing audio, turn the AirFly Duo off and then back on. This action will re-sync the AirFly Duo and should reconnect both AirPods.
  2. To pair a new set of headphones to the AirFly Duo, or if you are experiencing trouble connecting to your existing headphones, reset the AirFly Duo. Press and hold the Reset button on the side of the AirFly Duo for 4 seconds. The device will blink amber 4 times and then enter Pairing Mode.
