Hikvision HiWatch DS-D100IPF Villa Door Station Quick Start Guide
1. Appearance
The DS-D100IPF is a Villa Door Station with a microphone, camera, loudspeaker, card reading area, and indicator lights.
Indicator status:
- Unlock: Green light
- Call: Orange light
- Communicate: White light
2. Terminals and Wiring
The device features various terminals for connection:

3. Installation Accessories
The following accessories are provided for installation:
- Mounting Template: Used for marking drilling positions on the wall.
- Mounting Plate: The base plate to which the door station is attached.
- Screws: For securing the mounting plate and the device.
- Protective Shield: An optional accessory for added protection.
The mounting plate dimensions are 102.58 mm × 39.24 mm × 6.2 mm.
4. Installation
The Villa Door Station supports both flush and surface mounting. The following describes surface mounting.
Surface Mounting Without Protective Shield:
- Attach the mounting template to the wall. Drill screw holes according to the template. Remove the template from the wall.
- Secure the mounting plate to the wall using the 4 provided screws, aligning them with the drilled holes.
- Install the Villa Door Station onto the mounting plate and secure it using the set screw.
Surface Mounting With Protective Shield:
- Attach the mounting template to the wall. Drill screw holes according to the template. Remove the template from the wall.
- Align the protective shield with the mounting template.
- Secure the mounting plate and the protective shield to the wall using the 4 provided screws, aligning them with the drilled holes.
- Install the Villa Door Station onto the mounting plate and secure it using the set screw.
The recommended installation height is 1.40 meters from the ground, adjustable based on the user's height.
5. Configuration via Web
5.1 Device Activation via Web
Before using the device, it must be activated by setting a strong password. The default parameters are:
- Default IP Address: 192.0.0.65
- Default Port No.: 8000
- Default User Name: admin
Activation Steps:
- Power on the device and connect it to the network. Ensure the computer and device are on the same subnet.
- Enter the device's IP address (192.0.0.65) into the web browser's address bar and press Enter to access the activation page.
- Create a password (valid range: 8-16 characters, including at least two types: lowercase, uppercase, and special characters) and enter it in the password field.
- Confirm the password.
- Click OK to activate the device.
Note: Basic operation and remote configuration are not possible until the device is activated.
5.2 Accessing the Device via Web Browsers
- Enter the device's IP address in the browser's address bar and press Enter to access the login page.
- Enter the username (admin) and the password you set, then click Login.
6. Communicating with the Indoor Station
To enable communication, configure the indoor station's room number that is linked to the Villa Door Station. Refer to the Indoor Station User Manual for detailed instructions.
- Navigate to Settings → Intercom → Press button to call to access the settings page.
- Set the parameters: Edit the call number for each button. Optionally, check 'Call Management Center' to set a dedicated button for the call center.
Note: If both 'Call Management Center' and a specific call number are set, the 'Call Management Center' takes precedence.
Press the call button to initiate communication with the indoor station.
7. Issue Card
Manage access cards for the door station.
- Navigate to Settings → Access Control and Elevator Control to access the relevant settings page.
- Click 'Issue Card'. Present the Mifare card to the card reading area.
- Upon completion, confirmation will appear on the settings page.
Note: Only Mifare cards are supported. Mifare cards with non-standard shapes are recommended. The V-series door station can issue and manage up to 10,000 cards. A voice prompt will announce "Cannot issue more cards" when the limit is reached.
8. Unlock Door
After issuing cards, you can unlock the door by presenting an issued card to the card reading area.
