APP Function Description
The APP provides various functions for controlling the drone. Figure 1 illustrates the main control interface, displaying status indicators such as WIFI signal strength and GPS signal lock, alongside various control icons.
Key Interface Elements and Functions:
- WIFI Signal / GPS Signal: Indicates the strength of the wireless connection and the number of GPS satellites acquired.
- Lens Reverse: Flips the camera view.
- One-key Return: Initiates an automatic return-to-home function.
- Smart Follow: Enables the drone to follow a designated subject.
- Photo/Video Taking: Icons for capturing photos or recording videos.
- Shutter: Button to take a photo.
- Zoom: Control to zoom in or out.
- Album: Accesses stored photos and videos.
- Map: Displays a map interface, often showing the drone's location.
- Flight Status: Indicates the current flight mode or status.
- More Features: An icon (often depicted as three dots or similar) to access additional functions like parameter settings, music addition, filters, and PTZ adjustment.
Specific Functions accessed via "More Features":
- Unlock: (Figure 10, Figure 11) After powering on, click the "unlock" icon to activate the propellers for flight. The four propellers will turn simultaneously to indicate successful unlocking.
- One-key Takeoff and Landing: (Figure 12, Figure 13) Click the "one key takeoff" icon. In the pop-up box, slide to confirm. The drone will automatically take off or land slowly.
- Rocker Control: (Figure 14, Figure 15, Figure 16) Use the on-screen joysticks to control the drone's flight direction. The left joystick typically controls altitude (up/down) and yaw (left/right rotation), while the right joystick controls forward/backward and left/right movement.
- One-key Return: (Figure 17, Figure 18) Click the "one key return" icon to initiate the return-to-home sequence. Click again to cancel.
- High/Low Speed: (Figure 19, Figure 20) Select speed modes within the APP settings to adjust the drone's flight speed.
- Waypoint Flying: (Figure 21, Figure 22, Figure 23, Figure 24) Allows users to set a series of points on the map for the drone to fly to automatically. Users can add, delete, and reorder waypoints.
- Surrounding Flying: (Figure 27, Figure 28, Figure 29) Enables the drone to fly in a circle around a designated point or subject at a specified radius and speed.
- Smart Follow: (Figure 30, Figure 31) Select the "smart follow" icon to have the drone automatically track and follow the controller's mobile device or a selected subject. The drone will maintain a set distance and direction.
- Find Drone: (Figure 32, Figure 33) If the drone is lost, this function can help locate it by displaying its last known position on a map and potentially providing flight path data.
- Photo/Video: (Figure 34, Figure 35) Use the shutter icon to take photos or the photo/video icon to switch between photo and video modes. Recording can be started and stopped via the video icon.
- Add Music: (Figure 36, Figure 37, Figure 38) Allows users to add background music to recorded videos before saving them to the album.
- Lens Filters: (Figure 39, Figure 40) Apply various visual filters to the camera feed or recorded footage.
- PTZ Adjustment: (Figure 41) Adjust the tilt angle of the camera gimbal (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) for better framing during flight.
- Memory Card Formatting: (Figure 42) Format the SD card installed in the drone via the APP settings to prepare it for storing photos and videos.
Environmental Requirements Before Flying
Please choose an open indoor area or a rainless outdoor place with a wind force below grade 4. Keep away from people, trees, wires, tall buildings, airports, and signal towers when flying.
Flight Height and Distance Limits:
- Full-electricity fence: height of 120m, distance of 300m.
- Low-electricity fence: height of 15m, distance of 20m.
Control Interface Functions Description
The control interface utilizes two joysticks:
- Left Joystick:
- Pushing up or down controls the drone's ascent or descent (throttle).
- Pushing left or right controls the drone's yaw rotation (turning left or right).
- Right Joystick:
- Pushing up or down controls the drone's forward or backward movement.
- Pushing left or right controls the drone's lateral movement (flying left or right).
Troubleshooting Common Problems
Problem | Reason | Solution |
---|---|---|
Drone indicator flashing while it does not respond to operations | 1. GPS star searching of drone is failure. 2. Electricity of drone battery is low. |
1. Move drone to an open place and make star searching again. 2. Charge the battery. |
Drone blades rotate but it cannot take off | 1. The battery electricity is low. 2. Blade deformation. |
1. Charge the battery. 2. Replace the blade. |
Drone shakes badly | Blade deformation. | Replace the blade. |
Fine tuning to the end but drone still can't fly smoothly | 1. Blade deformation. 2. Motor failure. |
1. Replace the blade. 2. Replace the motor. |
Start drone again after an impact, the flying can be controlled | Triaxial acceleration sensor loses balance due to impact. | Place drone for 5-10s, or correct the gyroscope. |
