RDM Function
RDM (Remote Device Management) Function
The DNG-250 is equipped with RDM function, allowing users to control the unit through devices supporting the RDM ANSI E1.20 protocol. This protocol enhancement enables bi-directional communication between a controller and RDM-compliant devices over a standard DMX line. Users can set, monitor, and manage RDM-supported devices and equipment within a DMX network.
RDM Directory
The RDM directory lists available PIDs (Parameter IDs) and their capabilities.

Other Important Notes
Note 5-1: A water collection tray is equipped at the rear of the DNG-250. When the compressor runs, water drops may flow into the tray. Check the water level routinely and drain it to prevent overflow.
Figure 6: Image of the water collection tray at the rear of the DNG-250.
Note 5-2: For extended use or when unable to check the tray frequently, remove the tray and connect a 6mm PU hose to the water draining hole at the top of the collection tank to drain water directly. Push up the red button to remove the hose after draining.
Figure 7: Close-up of the water draining hole with a PU hose attached.
Note 5-3: The black square metal mesh at the back is the air inlet for the fan. Do not block it and clean it regularly.
Note 5-4: If fog volume is too low, the machine generates noise, or fog is not sprayed smoothly, turn off the power immediately. Check fluid level, external fuse, controller connection, or power supply. If issues persist, re-insert the power plug. If the machine still does not operate normally, check the hose to the fog fluid tank for blockages and fluid flow. If the cause cannot be identified, do not operate the machine to avoid damage. Turn off the machine, let it cool down, and contact an Antari dealer or service center. Do not disassemble the machine yourself.
Note 5-5: After prolonged use, residue may form on the floor, creating a slippery hazard. Be aware of floor material and ensure safety for people walking on it.
Note 5-6: The DNG-250 Low Fog Generator does not use dry ice; it is environmentally friendly and safe. However, the output fog is easily dispersed by wind. Consider the impact of fans or air conditioners on the fog effect.
Machine Maintenance Methods
6-1 Cleaning: Regular cleaning helps reduce replacement and repair costs.
6-2 Fluid Quality: Do not allow fog fluid to become contaminated. Keep the tank cap on at all times.
6-3 Storage Preparation: Before storing for extended periods, clean the machine, drain all fog fluid, disconnect the fog pipe and power cord. Store the machine and parts in the front accessory compartment. Warm up the machine once a month to prevent moisture buildup.
6-4 Storage Environment: Store the machine in a cool and dry place.
