  • Always unplug the machine before filling snow fluid.
  • Turn off or unplug when not in use.
  • This machine is not water or splash proof. If moisture, water, or snow fluid gets inside the housing, immediately unplug the unit. After unplugging, wipe the unit with a dry cloth and leave it to stand still for a while. If any problem occurs upon reuse, contact a service technician or your ANTARI dealer.

Unpacking & Inspection

Open the shipping carton and check that all equipment necessary to operate the machine have arrived intact.

The shipping carton should contain the following items:

  • Snow machine with power cable
  • W-1 wireless transmitter (Only for SW-250 model)
  • Fluid tank
  • Hanging bracket
  • Screw set and user manual

Before beginning initial setup, ensure there is no evident damage caused by transportation. In the event of a damaged cable or unit housing, do not plug it in nor use it until contacting your Antari dealer for assistance.

Setup and Power On

  1. Remove all packing materials from the shipping box. Ensure all foam and plastic paddings are removed.
  2. Place the machine on a flat surface and follow the steps below.
  3. Assembling Tank & Filter: A diagram shows the PU liquid tube connecting to a filter, which is then inserted into the tank. An adaptor with a nut must be tightly connected.

  4. Assembling Hanging Bracket: A diagram illustrates attaching the hanging bracket to the machine using M8 screws. Four washers are assembled on both inner sides of the hanging bracket, with M8 screws on the outer sides as indicated. Tightening screws are used to adjust the machine's angle when in the air.

  5. Fill with ANTARI SL-5(A) snow fluid. Any other types of fluid can damage the unit. When filled, place the cap back on the liquid tank.
  6. Plug the power cable into a grounded electrical outlet and flip the power switch at the rear of the machine to power it on.

The transmitter allows output via radio up to 50 meters. It is compatible with any SW-250 receiver and can control an unlimited number of machines in parallel. Press button "A" to output; the LED on the transmitter lights up. Press button "B" to stop output.

Receiver

The receiver is tested and built into the SW-250. It responds to up to 5 different registered transmitters. The included transmitter is pre-registered and can be operated without any start-up setting.

Battery Change on the Transmitter

If the transmitter's range decreases, the battery is likely exhausted and needs replacement. Remove the housing cover, remove the used battery, insert a fresh 12V battery, and refit the cover.

SC-2 (Optional) Wired Remote

The SC-2 is a 25 ft. wired ON/OFF and volume remote controller with a 4-pin XLR plug.

SC-2 Remote Description:

DMX Control Operation

The SW-250/SW-250X has on-board DMX control, with addressing via the LCD control panel. It uses 1 channel to control output on/off and volume, with a value range from 0 to 255. The on/off function can also be programmed with a DMX controller or software.

Channel A:

  • 0-10 = OFF
  • 11-255 = ON (1%-100%)

Note: Once a DMX cable is connected, the LCD control panel, W-1 transmitter, and HC-1 controller cannot be used.

Maintenance

  1. Do not allow the snow liquid to become contaminated. Always replace caps on the liquid container and the snow machine liquid tank immediately after filling.
  2. Before storing, rinse the system with pure water and let it pump for at least 1-2 minutes. This helps ensure a longer life-span for the motor and nozzle.
  3. Regularly clean dust/residue around the machine's vent holes (on both sides) using a small brush (like a toothbrush), brushing gently from top to bottom. This helps prevent debris from entering the machine and causing clogs.

Caution & Attention

⚠️ Never drink snow fluid. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately. If fluid contacts skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with cold water.

If you experience low output, mechanical noise, or no output after following the operation steps, unplug the unit immediately. Check the fluid level, external fuse, remote control connection, and power cable. If all appear OK, plug it back in. If the machine is still not functional, discontinue operation to prevent permanent damage and return it to your Antari dealer.

Snow Fluid

Antari SL-5/SL-5(A) fluid is designed for Antari snow machines. Antari SL-5(A) is a non-toxic solution that produces fast-dissipating snow.
