The ultimate level of automated fire safety
Fire protection for machines is essential due to devastating consequences and a high probability of occurrence; around ten percent of installed machines experience a fire incident within the first two to five years. The risk is particularly high when using oil instead of water-based coolants, leading to extensive and long-lasting damage. With increasing automation, the risk of unnoticed fires also rises. The shift from manual to machine-based production necessitates full integration of fire protection into automated processes to control potential hazards. Sinorix al-deco AX, a custom-fit fire safety system, addresses these needs.

Innovative fire safety for the future of production
Sinorix al-deco systems offer comprehensive protection features exceeding industry standards and complying with international safety requirements. Combined with SIMATIC technology, non-electrical fire detection and automatic fire extinguishing become more advanced and efficient. SIMATIC enables direct connection to the fire control panel and allows signal testing and parameter adjustment via the touch panel, making Sinorix al-deco AX object protection accessible and innovative.
MAXimum resistance to faults
The system's core is a patented, tubular, linear fire sensor called Lifdes™™ (Linear fire detection source), made from a high molecular weight polymer. Connected to an extinguishing agent cylinder via a valve, this sensor is under a permanent pressure of 15 bar. It bursts when its ambient temperature exceeds 110°C. Upon bursting, the valve on the extinguishing agent cylinder opens, releasing gas into the protected area.
Simultaneously, the machine's emergency stop function is activated. As detection is a pneumatic process, the sensor is resistant to dirt, water, oil, and vibration, as well as adverse technical factors like power cuts and deception variables. Additional safety functions, such as door monitoring and door locking, can be implemented.
