Product Overview

Siemens Cerberus PRO intelligent voice communication is an advanced, addressable fire alarm system with voice evacuation technology. Utilizing its proprietary "networked" multiprocessor design and intelligent detection devices, Cerberus PRO offers a flexible fire protection system with integrated voice evacuation and a wide range of configuration options.

Cerberus PRO voice panels are ideal for small to mid-market applications, supporting up to 252 (FV922) or 504 (FV924) addressable points on a network, with a history log of up to 10,000 events.

Each Cerberus PRO system features user-friendly controls including programmable keys, a backlit LCD display, and a four-direction navigation button.

Cerberus PRO voice panels are UL 864 10th Edition, UL 1711, UL 2017, and UL 2572 listed; ULC-S527 and ULC-S559 listed.

The ABHW-4B is a unique sounder base that can be powered directly from the signaling line circuit (SLC) in a two-wire configuration when used with intelligent Cerberus PRO detectors.

The ABHW-4S sounder base generates a 520 Hz square wave audio signal compliant with NFPA 72 and Underwriters' Laboratories applications.

Cerberus PRO standard and advanced intelligent detector lines offer high sensitivity with very early warning fire detection (VEWFD), carbon monoxide (CO) gas detection, and seven field-adjustable heat detection temperature settings.

Voice Communication System

• System Enclosure: Three-rack-unit (3HU) enclosure for FV922/FV924 models.

Operating Interface Unit

• Model: FCM2018-U3 (standard), FCM2019-U3 (with LED).
• Functions as the operator interface and central microprocessor for fire terminals and Cerberus PRO FACPs.
• Features easy event "acknowledgment", control of notification appliance circuits (NACs), and manual system reset.
• 2" x 4-3/4" backlit LCD display for event information.
• Site-specific program configuration using "Cerberus Works" software.
• Supports connection to remote peripheral modules (FCA2018-U1) and remote terminal displays.
• For Canada, the FCM2035-U3 is required for LED operating units.

Peripheral Boards

• Models: FCI2016-U1, FCI2017-U1.
• Integral components for FV922/FV924 panel operation.
• Monitor and supervise input device identity.
• Control signaling line circuits for smoke detectors and field devices (C-NET).

Power Supply Module

• 11.5 Amps regulated 24VDC output.
• Includes two (2) 6.3A slow-blow fuses and an AC line filter.
• Installs in the rear box of FHB2005-U1/R1.
• For applications requiring over 300W, the FP2013-U1 can optionally power FV922/FV924 voice systems, providing up to 600W at 24VDC.
