IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin Promotion Terms and Conditions

By participating in the IKEA Winactie, you accept these terms and conditions. Please also read our privacy statement, which explains how we process the personal data you share with us when you participate in the IKEA Winactie.

1. Who organizes this promotion?

The organizer of this promotion is IKEA B.V., Laan van Decima 1, (2031 CX) Haarlem (hereinafter: “IKEA”). This promotion is valid at twelve IKEA stores of IKEA B.V. in the Netherlands (with the exception of IKEA Delft and the Plan & Order Point in Leeuwarden).

2. What is the promotion period?

The IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin will be present for a maximum of twenty hours in total across twelve IKEA stores in the Netherlands on Saturday, June 7, 2025, and Monday, June 9, 2025 (with the exception of IKEA Delft and the Plan & Order Point in Leeuwarden).

3. What is IKEA promoting with this promotion?

With the IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin, IKEA promotes IKEA Family membership. You can read here about the benefits of IKEA Family membership for you and how to sign up.

4. How can you participate in the IKEA Winactie?

To spin the IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin, you must first make a purchase at one of the thirteen IKEA stores and scan your IKEA Family card at checkout. Your receipt, showing your IKEA Family number, is your entry ticket for the IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin.

You can participate a maximum of once during the promotion period and win a maximum of one prize.

Minors require permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.

Participation is excluded for IKEA employees.

5. Are there any (communication) costs associated with participation?

There are no (communication) costs associated with participating in the IKEA Winactie.

6. What prizes can you win?

Each IKEA store displays which prizes you can win. The prizes represent an economic value between EUR 0.50 and EUR 50. These prizes may include an IKEA scented candle, a free ice cream, or a voucher of €10 or €50 for your next purchase. A maximum of 3,000 prizes will be distributed across all stores over a maximum of twenty hours. This means that the IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin will give away a maximum of 150 prizes per hour. The total maximum economic value amounts to EUR 7,500 per store. Given the chance element of the promotion, it is possible that not all prizes will find a winner.

The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. It is not permitted to sell, transfer, or use the prizes for commercial purposes to third parties.

IKEA reserves the right to replace a prize with a prize of equal or higher value if the original prize is no longer available due to circumstances.

The voucher can be used for a subsequent purchase at an IKEA store or online, with the exception of the Swedish restaurant, the Swedish Bistro, or the Swedish Food Market, and the purchase of services and/or gift cards. You can only redeem one voucher per purchase. There is no minimum spending requirement for the voucher. The voucher can only be used once; any remaining credit after use will expire. It is not permitted to split purchases. The voucher can be redeemed from June 16, 2025, up to and including August 31, 2025. If you return (part of) your purchase made with the voucher, you will receive a refund of the actual amount paid (i.e., minus the discount applied).

7. How does IKEA select the winners?

The IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin selects whether you win randomly and impartially.

8. How do you know if you have won?

When you participate in the IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin, you will see immediately if you have won something. The outcome communicated by IKEA is final. IKEA does not correspond about the results.

9. Are you liable for gambling tax on your prize?

You are not liable for gambling tax on the prize you have won.

11. Where can I go with questions or complaints about the IKEA Winactie?

If you have questions or complaints about the IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin, we ask you to contact us via our customer service.

12. And some other points

The IKEA Family Rad van Fortuin is in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance.

We pay great attention to the organization of this promotion. Nevertheless, it may occur that the information about it is incomplete or incorrect, or that we must adjust the promotion and/or terms and conditions or prematurely terminate the promotion. We are not liable for errors in the information, changes, or termination of the promotion, or any other damage resulting from or in connection with this promotion.

We may disqualify a participant if we believe that a participant is not acting in accordance with these terms and conditions or is otherwise acting unlawfully.

If a provision of these terms and conditions is void or voidable, this will not affect the other provisions of these terms and conditions. We will replace the void or voidable provision with a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the original intention.

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. The competent court is the court of Amsterdam.
