Immergas Announces Alfredo Amadei as New President
Brescello, June 21, 2016 - Immergas, a leading Italian group in condensing boilers focused on sustainability and energy saving, has announced a leadership transition. Founder Romano Amadei is passing the presidential baton to his son, Alfredo Amadei, 48, who previously served as Vice President.
Leadership Transition and Company Mission
Alfredo Amadei expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged his full commitment to Immergas's mission of producing quality, innovation-oriented domestic climate systems for over fifty years. He emphasized the company's global market dialogue and the reputation built by its employees. He also highlighted the importance of his father's continued support, noting that Romano Amadei will remain on the Immergas board of directors and will retain his position as President of the parent company, Immerfin Spa. The appointment of Alessandro Carra as Vice President signifies the families' commitment to continued investment in Immergas's development and competitiveness.
New Organizational Structure
Alessandro Carra has been promoted from Director to Vice President, while his brother Gionata remains a Director. The new leadership structure includes the confirmation of Mirko Orlandini as Vice President, overseeing human resources, and Fulvio Martini as CEO, focusing on administration and finance. Pietro Alberici, Strategic Marketing Director, and Mauro Guareschi, Research and Development Director, will continue as Directors on the Immergas board.
Alfredo Amadei's Experience and Immergas's Global Reach
Alfredo Amadei joined Immergas in 1989 and has been instrumental in overseeing the commercial and operational functions of the Italian-based multinational. He played a key role in the company's internationalization phase, which began in 1996 with the opening of the first subsidiary in Poland. The Immerfin group, which controls Immergas, now operates globally with 10 subsidiaries and 3 production facilities in Brescello (Italy), Poprad (Slovakia), and Quazvin (Iran).
