Immergas: New Challenges for its 60th Anniversary
Date: July 2025
The 2024 financial report of the Immerfin Group confirms Immergas's position as a leading player in the domestic climate sector. President Alfredo Amadei reaffirms the development strategy: "We are investing to remain competitive."
Brescello, July 31, 2025 – The 2024 financial report of the Immerfin Group confirms the positioning of the holding company, controlled by the Amadei and Carra families, among the protagonists of innovation oriented towards sustainability and energy saving in domestic climate systems.
"In the year of our sixtieth anniversary since our founding (in 1964) and with 10 million boilers sold worldwide, Immergas has maintained its position, improving in some markets that will prove important in the coming years," comments the President of the Immerfin Group, Alfredo Amadei. "The increase in sales volumes has allowed us to maintain a high level of investment, which has led us, year after year, to anticipate market trends with courageous choices such as the Hybrid Change (hybrid systems) development, which today proves to be the extra step in the delicate transition towards innovative and more sustainable domestic climate systems."
The consolidated financial statement of the Immerfin Group, which includes, in addition to the parent company Immergas, the production companies Immergas Europe in Poprad, Slovakia, Immergas Heating Equipment in Changzhou, China, and King Heating products in Canada, as well as the global network of commercial and service companies, after a historic record in 2022, reports a turnover of 373.9 million euros.
The main profitability indices have remained at levels that support the group's investment plan and management: EBITDA (gross operating margin) of 49.3 million and consolidated net profit of 38.7 million.
"The solid commercial organization that Immergas has built over sixty years of development remains our point of reference," continues President Alfredo Amadei. "This allows us to face the less positive phases of the domestic climate market. Despite a market in double-digit percentage decline, the Immerfin Group's gas boiler sales have shown positive performance, remaining in line with the volumes recorded in the previous year and marking a significant increase in market share. This is despite the European regulatory framework, which is increasingly oriented towards the progressive limitation of the sale of appliances powered by fossil fuels. This choice has led to a significant contraction in demand in the main gas boiler markets, combined with a decline in the heat pump market due to the drop in incentive mechanisms."
The group's employees are steadily over a thousand, with over 600 at the central plant in Lentigione di Brescello (RE). The other production units undergoing further development are in China (approximately 50 employees) and Slovakia (approximately 150 employees).
The investment plan launched by the Immerfin Group to maintain high competitiveness includes investments in production units in Italy and abroad, along with the consolidation of the network of commercial companies. In 2024, the Immerfin Group's consolidation area changed following the increase to 80% of the stake in the Portuguese company Immersat, based in the district of Braga.
2025 is shaping up to be a year of significant changes in the global economic landscape: the Eurozone shows complex dynamics, China is showing slight improvement, while trade tensions and tariffs imposed by the United States represent a factor of global instability.
"In this evolving scenario," concludes Alfredo Amadei, "at the end of the first semester, the Group's main companies are recording a slight increase in revenue, supported by the positive contribution of sales in foreign markets, with particular reference to Eastern Europe, an area where, after years of progressive contraction, concrete signs of a demand recovery are beginning to emerge."
