How to Operate
Built-in Water Tank:
To use the built-in water tank, open the top door and pour in water. Ensure the water drain plug is secured to prevent drainage. Keep water level below the MAX mark. To maximize ice cube capacity, use cold water.
Before First Use:
- Follow the CLEANING & MAINTENANCE steps.
- Remove all packing material and check the unit, cord, and plug for damage.
- Place the unit on a flat, level surface protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure at least four inches of empty space on all sides.
- Allow one hour for the refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging in for the first time.
- Ensure the unit's voltage matches your home's outlet voltage.
Using Your Ice Cube Maker:
- Open the Clear Lid, remove the Ice Basket, and pour water into the Water Reservoir, keeping the level below the MAX mark. Ensure the Ice Deflector is connected to the ice basket to prevent ice from blocking the infrared beam.
- Press the ICE button on the LED Control Panel to start the ice-making cycle. Once started, you cannot stop it by pressing ICE again; wait 30 seconds for unfinished ice to melt. You can press ICE to turn it off, but must wait 1 minute before restarting to protect the compressor.
- Select the desired ice cube size using the SELECT button. For room temperatures below 60°F (16°C), small cubes are recommended to prevent sticking.
- Each ice-making cycle takes 6 to 15 minutes, depending on cube size and ambient temperature.
- Periodically check the water level. If the pump cannot pump water, the unit will stop, and the ADD WATER light will illuminate.
- If the water level is low, turn the unit OFF, fill water to the MAX level, and press ICE again to restart.
- The unit automatically stops when the Ice Basket is full, and the ICE FULL light illuminates.
- Change the water in the Water Reservoir every 24 hours for hygiene. If the unit is not in use, drain all water.
- Important Note: If power is disconnected during an ice-making cycle or LED lights blink, press ON/OFF to stop the cycle. Unplug the unit, let it sit for a few minutes to warm up and allow ice to fall from evaporator fingers. Empty the Water Tray and wait three minutes before restarting.
- Warning: Do not touch the Evaporator during operation or ice making, as this can cause severe burns.
Using Your Shaved Ice Maker:
- To get shaved ice, place a cup in the dispensing area and push the SHAVED ICE button. Ensure enough ice is in the bowl and the cover is secured.
- To stop, press the ICE button again. The Crushed Ice indicator will illuminate on the control panel when dispensing crushed ice.
Helpful Tips
ADD WATER INDICATOR:
- Turn off the unit, add water, and press ON/OFF to restart.
- There might be too much ice. Turn off the unit and remove some ice from the Ice Basket.
ICE CUBES STICK TOGETHER:
- The ice cycle may be too long. Stop the maker, restart when cubes melt, or select smaller cubes.
- Water temperature in the reservoir may be too low. Change the water. Room temperature should be between 45°F - 90°F.
ICE MAKER NOT WORKING:
- Ambient or water temperature may be too high. Ensure the unit is in an environment below 90°F. Try pouring colder water (45°F - 90°F).
- If changing water or cooling doesn't work, there may be a refrigerant leak or a blocked pipe. Contact a qualified technician.
- If the compressor stops (e.g., due to water shortage, too much ice, power off), wait 3 minutes before restarting.
- Pure water is not allowed; spring water is recommended.
LED LIGHTS:
- If LED lights blink, there may be a power interruption. Press ON/OFF to stop the cycle. Let the unit rest for several minutes to warm up and allow ice to fall. Empty the Water Tray and wait three minutes before restarting.
