How to Operate
Before First Use:
- Follow the steps in CLEANING & MAINTENANCE.
- Place the unit on a flat, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure at least six inches of clearance on all sides.
- Allow one hour for the refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging in for the first time.
Using Your Ice Cube Maker:
- Ensure the Water Drain Plug is inserted.
- Open the Clear Lid, remove the Ice Basket, and pour water into the Water Reservoir, keeping the level below the MAX mark. Drain excess water if needed using the Water Drain Plug.
- Replace the Ice Basket and close the Clear Lid.
- Press the ON/OFF button on the LED Control Panel to start the ice-making cycle. The unit will automatically start making ice after 20 minutes if not manually restarted after filling.
- Select the desired ice cube size (S for small, L for large) using the SELECT button. For room temperatures below 60°F (16°C), small cubes are recommended to prevent sticking.
- Each ice-making cycle takes 7 to 15 minutes, depending on cube size and ambient temperature.
- Monitor the water level. If the pump cannot draw water, the unit will stop automatically, and the Add Water light will illuminate.
- When the water level is low, turn the unit OFF, refill to the MAX level, and turn it back ON.
- The unit stops automatically when the Ice Basket is full, indicated by the ICE FULL light.
- Change the water in the Water Reservoir every 24 hours for hygiene. Drain the reservoir when the unit is not in use. Refer to the CLEANING & MAINTENANCE section for deeper cleaning.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If power is disconnected or LED lights blink during the cycle, press ON/OFF to stop. Unplug the unit, let it warm up for a few minutes to allow ice to fall, empty the Water Tray, and wait three minutes before restarting.
CAUTION: Do not touch the Evaporator during operation or ice making, as this can cause severe burns.
Helpful Tips
Add Water Indicator:
- If the Add Water Indicator lights up, turn off the unit, add water, and restart.
- Ensure there isn't too much ice in the basket; remove some if necessary.
Ice Cubes Stick Together:
- If the ice cycle is too long, stop and restart when cubes melt. Select smaller cubes.
- If the water temperature is too low, change the water. Maintain room temperature between 45°F - 90°F.
Ice Maker Not Working:
- If the ice-making cycle runs but no ice is produced, check ambient or water temperature. The unit should be in an environment below 90°F. Try using colder water (45°F - 90°F).
- If changing water or cooling doesn't help, there might be a refrigerant leak or a blocked cooling system pipe. Contact a qualified technician.
LED Lights:
- Blinking LED lights may indicate a power disruption. Press ON/OFF to stop the cycle, unplug, let the unit warm up, empty the water tray, and wait three minutes before restarting.
