How to Operate
Before First Use:
- Follow Cleaning & Maintenance steps.
- Place the unit on a flat, level surface protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure at least four inches of empty space on all sides.
- Allow one hour for refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging in for the first time.
Using Your Ice Cube Maker:
- Open the Clear Lid, remove the Ice Basket, and pour water into the Water Reservoir. Keep water below the MAX level mark. Drain excess water via the Water Drain Plug if needed.
- Press the POWER button on the LED Control Panel to start the ice-making cycle.
- Select the desired ice cube size using the SELECT button. For room temperatures below 60°F (16°C), small-sized cubes are recommended to prevent sticking.
- Each ice-making cycle lasts 6 to 15 minutes, depending on cube size and ambient temperature. Hotter temperatures may increase cycle time.
- Periodically check the water level. If the pump cannot supply water, the unit stops automatically, and the Add Water light illuminates.
- If the water level is low, turn the unit OFF, fill water to the MAX level, and press POWER to restart.
- The unit stops automatically when the Ice Basket is full, and the ICE FULL light illuminates.
- Change water in the Water Reservoir every 24 hours for hygiene. If not in use, drain all water.
Important Note: If power is disconnected during an ice-making cycle or LED lights blink, press POWER to stop, unplug the unit, let it sit for a few minutes to warm up and allow ice to fall from evaporator fingers. Empty the water tray and wait three minutes before restarting.
⚠ Warning: Do not touch the Evaporator during use or ice making, as this can cause severe burns.
Helpful Tips
Add Water Indicator:
- If the Add Water Indicator lights up, turn off the unit, add water, and press POWER to restart.
- There might be too much ice; turn off the unit and remove some ice from the Ice Basket.
Ice Cubes Stick Together:
- If the ice cycle is too long, stop the Ice Maker and restart when cubes melt. Select smaller cube sizes.
- Water temperature in the reservoir may be too low. Change the water. Room temperature should be between 45°F - 90°F.
Ice Maker Not Working:
- If the ice-making cycle runs but no ice is produced:
- Ambient or water temperature may be too high. Unit requires an environment below 90°F. Try pouring colder water (45°F - 90°F).
- If changing water or cooling doesn't help, there might be a refrigerant leak or a blocked cooling system pipe. Contact a qualified technician.
LED Lights:
- If LED lights blink, there may be a power interruption. Press POWER to stop the cycle. Let the unit rest for a few minutes to warm up, allowing ice to fall. Empty the water tray and wait three minutes before restarting.
