Notes for relevant sections:
- I. Water resistant: Not protected against water. Avoid any moisture.
- III. Do not press watch buttons underwater.
- If exposed to salt water, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry.
- V. Can be used for scuba diving (except depths requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
- Some water-resistant watches may have leather straps. Do not wear these watches while swimming or engaging in activities where the strap may be submerged.
Watch Care
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
- The rubber gasket protecting against water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If moisture enters the watch, have it checked immediately by a CASIO dealer.
- Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping.
- Do not fasten the strap too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the strap.
- Clean the watch and strap with a dry soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile substances (e.g., gasoline, solvents, aerosol cleaners).
- Store the watch in a dry place when not in use.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
Some models feature silk-screened designs on the strap. Clean carefully to avoid damaging these designs.
For watches with resin straps:
- A white powdery substance may appear on the strap. This is harmless and can be removed by wiping with a cloth.
- Sweat, moisture, or high humidity can damage, tear, or crack resin straps. To ensure longevity, wipe the strap clean with a soft cloth whenever possible.
For watches with fluorescent cases and straps:
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the fluorescent color to fade.
- Prolonged contact with moisture can also cause fading. Wipe off any moisture from the watch surface as soon as possible.
- Contact with other damp surfaces may cause discoloration. Keep the fluorescent surface dry and away from other surfaces.
- Rubbing the fluorescent surface against another surface may transfer the color.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage arising from the use of this watch, nor does it accept claims from third parties.
